Harrison Ford signed on to be in Anchorman 2. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he is going to play a “legendary newscaster a la Tom Browkaw.” Neat. The film begins shooting this month in Atlanta. The original cast of Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, and David Koechner will return. Kristen Wiig has also been thrown into the mix. If I had to speculate I’d say we’ll also see a cameo from Vince Vaughn again and maybe someone like Jonah Hill. One thing’s for sure, this is gonna be one hell of a Judd Apatow and friends circlejerk.
Mr. Ford is hopefully going to appear in another sequel, this one of the Star Wars variety. In the meantime he has three films coming out: 42, Paranoia, and Ender’s Game.
