Robert Pattinson’s Dior campaign has a new artsy teaser: awful & budget?

Here are some photos of Robert Pattinson on the set of Maps to the Stars from the past two days. He has a haircut and he’s wearing a nice suit. He’s working with David Cronenberg again, which must be a happy experience for him. Will Cronenberg become his go-to director, like Leo DiCaprio and Marty Scorsese? Who knows. I will give Cronenberg some credit – he seems to only work with Rob when Rob is looking good. Like, Cronenberg doesn’t cast Rob to play schlubby characters.

Anyway, Dior’s neverending “tease” of Rob’s campaign has hit a new low. Dior is tired of dragging out the release of the print images from Rob’s campaign and now they’ve made a video teaser. This teaser looks like something that James Franco would create. Hand to God. It’s so “arty” that Lady Gaga is going to copy it and claim it as an original work.

Meanwhile, as we discussed on Sunday, Rob “shoved” a security guard on his way out of Troubadour several nights ago. If you go back and watch the video, it’s not like Rob was being hyper-aggressive or anything, and there were several people touching him and grabbing him. I thought that it was all a mistake – but other people had other ideas. Now Hollywood Life’s source claims Rob genuinely “feels bad” for what happened:

Rob has seen the infamous TMZ video of himself pushing the security guard and he realizes he got the wrong guy, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

“He was grabbed at one point on his way out and he couldn’t see who did it with all the flashes, and the security guard who was whisking him away to his car was the closest and most available guy to grab,” the source reveals. “Rob was buzzed as well, so add being buzzed, hundreds of flashes from the cameras and just being annoyed that he couldn’t just leave…that’s why he flipped out for the split second.”

That’s no excuse though, and Rob knows what he did was wrong.

“He feels bad but also knows he didn’t put much force into what he did,” the source reveals. “He is not worried about hurting anyone as it was more of a tap than a grab. It is now water under the bridge.”

That said, Rob doesn’t want to make any enemies — he’s not too proud to say he’s sorry.

“If and when he is there again and sees the guy, he will apologize, but he is not going to make a separate trip to make up for it,” the source adds.

This is so dumb. If you feel bad about wrongly shoving someone, go and apologize. Simple as that.
