Miley Cyrus really thinks she’s hot shit, and she also seems to overestimate her own importance in every way. But eh, she’s young, so we’ve got several more years of listening to her go on and on about her big ideas in life.
Her latest foray into… whatever it is she does is a new interview in Elle that she did with Rookie founder and fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson, in which she discusses her contribution to feminism yet again.
“I’m just about equality, period. It’s not like, I’m a woman, women should be in charge! I just want there to be equality for everybody. I still don’t think we’re there 100 percent. I mean, guy rappers grab their crotch all f—ing day and have hos around them, but no one talks about it. But if I grab my crotch and I have hot model bitches around me, I’m degrading women? I’m a woman–I should be able to have girls around me! But I’m part of the evolution of that. I hope.”
Cool, I guess? I mean, she totally doesn’t get what feminism is about AT ALL, but that’s fine, girl. If it’s all about your right to grab your crotch, knock yourself out.

Miley Cyrus is getting ready to drop her junk on you during her Bangerz tour, and as she gets amped up to head out on the road, she’s been doing some interviews about just how fun it’s going to be… as well as educational for the children folk. WHAT?

“Even though parents probably won’t think this, I think my show is educational for kids. They’re going to be exposed to art most people don’t know about.
“People are taught to look at things so black and white, especially in small towns. I’m excited to take this tour to places where [art] like this wouldn’t be accepted, where kids wouldn’t learn about this different kind of art.”
So, let me get this straight… Miley Cyrus thinks that her sucking her thumb as she rides a hot dog (dick metaphors abound) is going to expose your children to “education” and “art” that they wouldn’t get elsewhere… like, say, on the TV, where she twerks with midgets, swings naked from a wrecking ball and masturbates on a table? Give me a break, Miley.
I don’t know about you, but the last place I’d be taking my kids (if I had any) would be to a Miley Cyrus concert. NOPE. Nor would I call what she does “art”, but YMMV, I suppose…

Fans showed up at the Miami South Beach Outdoor Festival on New Year’s Day this year expecting to be treated to (or tortured with) an appearance by Miley Cyrus, but she never actually showed. Promoters were furious, claiming that they forked over a ton of money to her booking agent – $125,000, to be exact – and were promised she’d be there. Turns out, that “booking agent” might not have any real connection to Miley.
From TMZ:
A Florida concert promotion company says it sent $125K to a woman claiming to be Miley’s booking agent — a deposit to secure Miley for the shindig. The money was wired to a bank account while the deal was being finalized.
The lawsuit claims the booking agent cleaned out the bank account and on New Year’s Day … no Miley.
The promoters seem to believe they really were dealing with Miley’s agent. We spoke with the woman, who says she does NOT work for Miley but was acting as an intermediary. She claims she forwarded the money to Miley’s real agents.
Miley’s people tell TMZ Miley has no involvement in this matter — and tells us the woman has no connection to her actual booking agent.
So basically, it’s a game of he said/she said right now, and somebody better start producing some receipts. If these concert organizers did indeed send the money and have proof, then the woman who was “working as an intermediary” better have proof of where SHE sent that money, because $125,000 doesn’t just disappear into nowhere.
It seems unlikely that a star as big as Miley would need to pull this kind of stunt (though I doubt she knew anything about any of this either way), so I’m guessing this “intermediary” woman is a liar and a con artist, but you never know. What do you think happened here?

Miley Cyrus is a super evolved human who is on the next level of many things in life that us laymen just can’t understand. She’s a self-proclaimed “fucking mess”, but she’s also a massive superstar with a huge global platform to spread a good message – one that doesn’t involve masturbating on a table (not that masturbation is a BAD message, per se…) or grinding on little people dressed like babies.
No, this time around, Miley wants to express her support for gay rights by wearing a poorly-drawn shirt with a lesbian couple and their child. She captioned the photo “Jacobs by Marc by Marc Jacobs”, so I’m guessing that’s who designed it? Either way, I bet it was super expensive and as is the case with many expensive things, it’s ugly. That being said, the message is a good one, and while Miley may not be the #1 desirable candidate for a gay rights ally, she’s got a massive audience and for some reasons, what celebrities say DOES count, so I’m into it.
Then again, maybe she’s supporting gay rights since she’s ~*biseXual*~ these days? Who can say, but either way, good for Miley.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to tell that Miley Cyrus is pretty fucked up, right? Especially after that VMAs nonsense, it became clear that she needs some serious help and for someone to hold a gigantic mirror up in front of her so she can see the bullshit she’s been doing over the past year. Is this nonsense a form of PTSD from her childhood? An extreme reaction to Liam Hemsworth running far, far away from her triflin’ ass? Who can say?
In any case, turns out Miley actually knows she’s “fucked up” and talked about it quite openly in an interview with The Sunday Mirror (via The Mirror):
“I have so many fucking issues.
“I am so fucked up – everyone does dumb stuff when they are messed up. I don’t have a normal life. I take a hiatus every now and again but I’m not good at that.”
So… your excuse for your behaviour is that you don’t have a normal life? Or that you don’t take enough breaks? Oh, man. That’s not really how things go. You either get some therapy and get your shit together or you fade into obscurity so that the rest of the world doesn’t have to put up with you. What part of that don’t you understand?
