Two 19 year-old attention whores from London, Amber Langford and Annie Collinge, thought it would be funny to dress up as New York’s Twin Towers for Halloween. But their Twin Towers Halloween costumes weren’t a tasteful homage to the tragic event that shook the world, instead these two women were the Twin Towers of 9/11, erupting in flames, and with miniature “people” falling to their deaths. Their costumes were topped off with American flags atop their brainless heads.
Worse yet, the two women won £150 in a Halloween contest at a nightclub. The club’s DJ picked the flaming Twin Towers as winners. Reports say some people in attendance were livid that the women won, and some of them booed as the Twin Towers accepted their prize.
Many outraged people have taken to the nightclub’s Facebook page and have left scathing reviews for the club.
Yesterday we wrote about another woman who also caused outrage with her Halloween costume. She dressed as a Boston Marathon bombing victim. She lost her job after posting photos on Twitter, and actual victims of the attack lashed out at her on the social media site.
What do you think of these Twin Towers Halloween costumes? How would you react if you saw them in person?
