Charlize Theron has just been looking so awesome lately. I can’t get over how her shaved head and subsequent grow-out has been the best thing for her “look” in years. These are pics of Charlize and her son Jackson at Pinkberry in West Hollywood yesterday. I love how focused Jackson is on the fro-yo. I remember… when I was growing up, there were always Dairy Queens close enough, but finally we got a yogurt shop just down the road when I was like 8 years old. Yogurt seems like the most amazing thing when you’re a kid! Like, your parents don’t feel so guilty about letting you have yogurt as opposed to ice cream.
By the way, I love how Charlize rolls in her casual outings – many, many Hollywood ladies should take note. Her clothes fit, they’re flattering, and I’m sure those jeans are super-expensive, and the amazing zebra sweater is probably, like, a thousand dollars. But Charlize wears it simply, so she manages to look both upmarket AND casual and cute.
Speaking of jeans, did you hear the rumor that Charlize is going to design a denim line? According to The Hollywood Reporter, Charlize and her stylist Leslie Fremar are “shopping the idea for a Theron Jeans line with denim brands, which would be sold in mass-market stores.” Doing your own clothing line – even if it’s a specialty like jeans – seems like a Katie Holmes-type move, which is to say that it’s something actresses do to stay relevant when they’re not scoring movie roles. But maybe Charlize will be different. Maybe this will just be an awesome little side-project for her and her jeans will be amazing. *fingers crossed*
