Chris Brown is a dickhead of epic proportions, the forefather whose asshole status is that which Justin Bieber has aspired to ascend to. He has committed so many crimes with such blatant lack of remorse and/or improvement… and yet here he is, a free man. He was in court recently, as we all know, facing his latest assault charges and while prosecutors want him in jail for it, a California judge thought he’ll do better in a rehab facility. Fuuuuuuuuuck off.
Judge James R Brandlin claims that the drug abuse and anger management facility is giving him an “adequate safety net”. Well, what about the safety of all the people he assaults? Where’s our net? It should be him in jail! Also, let’s not forget that his probation has been revoked stemming back from the time when he beat Rihanna to a bloody pulp… and yet “rehab” is the way to go? UGH.
Oh, and one more thing to remember: he turned down a plea deal in this case that would reduce his charges because he’s that cocky that he can do whatever he wants and not have to face any consequences for it. What a lovely human being.
Chris Brown has been having a bit of a rough time lately, eh? After his most recent misdemeanor assault charge, someone on his management team got smart and decided it was time for him to go to rehab to confront some of his anger issues. Of course, he didn’t stay there very long and in fact left after about two weeks. I personally don’t see a problem with that. After all, two weeks is more than enough time to change your violent, homophobic ways and become a well-adjusted, law-abiding member of society. What’s the problem here?
Well, there is clearly a problem as Chris hit court on Wednesday for a progress hearing on his 2009 “I beat Rihanna but I’m over it and you should be too” case, and a judge decided that, considering how he beat someone up in DC last month, he probably has some more serious issues to work on and he needs to head back to rehab for another 90 days. While there, he’ll have to undergo drug tests as well as taking any prescription drugs provided to him by the rehab staff. A tranquilizer, maybe?
Here’s E! Online‘s roundup:
Agreeing with the recommendation of the probation department, L.A. Superior Court Judge James Brandlin ordered the singer to spend another three months in a residential treatment facility, submit to drug testing and take medication as prescribed by his doctor.
Brown is also required to complete 24 hours of community service a week during the course of his time in rehab.
I wish we could lock this asshole up and throw away the key. Just make sure to put his buddy Bieber in there with him before you lock it up.
Chris Brown is a total piece of shit. Yes, I feel that “news” is worth opening every article with, because it’s true and it’s something to keep in mind. His anger issues, homophobia, tendency to beat women, etc. make him the ultimate candidate for dickhead of our generation. But wait, he’s just misunderstood! Everyone keeps picking on him but really he’s such a nice guy and he really loves everyone – especially the same gay people that he consistently used to bash and the fact that up until he flipped the script and tried to endear himself to the world again (never going to happen), “gay” was a pejorative in his world. Fuck off, man.
That’s right, Chris Brown is a gay rights advocate now, and even tweeted his support for a petition aimed at Cameroon’s President Biya after a string of recent hate crimes in the country.
Love is not a crime. Gay or straight. Love who u wanna love. Stop the hate & sign here http://t.co/LAdsuz2iaf #Unity

Listen, Chris Brown’s fans are stupid enough to follow him despite his idiocy, so hopefully this bullshit gesture will still have a positive effect. The truth is that regardless of how much I might hate him, he does have an impact with millions, and it could give this important cause more visibility and pull, so I’m all for that. I will, however, never be for Chris Brown. Way to exploit a marginalized group of people for your own gain, bro.
You know how it went down – Chris Brownhit someone’s car in Los Angeles last week and was a total asshole about it (surprise, surprise). When pressed by the driver of the other car for his insurance information, he initially refused but finally gave in… giving her false details. Of course, now he denies the whole thing and says it’s the driver who doesn’t want to talk to him. Yeah, I’m sure that’s the case, bro.
Chris Brown says he did nothing wrong when he was involved in a minor fender bender last week … and claims the other driver has been ducking his attempts to discuss the matter … TMZ has learned.
As TMZ first reported, Brown allegedly refused to give over his driver’s license number (and provided incorrect insurance info) to the driver of a Mercedes he rear-ended … which, if true, could put his probation in the Rihanna beating case in jeopardy.
But sources close to Chris tell TMZ he gave the woman all the correct info and when his lawyer attempted to contact her not long after the accident … she hung up on him. We’re told all subsequent calls from Chris’ lawyer have gone unanswered.
Our sources also say that neither Chris, nor anyone in his camp, has been contacted by the LAPD so far.
BOO. Regardless of how minor the accident is, if the other driver requested your insurance information (as is the norm), you give it over and it gets settled. Why would the woman ask for his insurance information and then… not want to speak to you about it at all? And I refuse to believe that Chris is just such a good man that he keeps trying to reach out to her to make sure she’s okay/settle the issue. Sorry, not buying it.
Chris Brown‘s private plane filled with smoke outside of Burbank, California shortly after take-off yesterday and had to make an emergency landing. What a shame. Not that it happened, but that Chris Brown didn’t jump out with a parachute to save himself, only to find that the ripcord was broken. I think you get my point.
From TMZ:
A private jet carrying Chris Brown was forced to make an emergency landing in Burbank yesterday after the cockpit filled with smoke after takeoff … TMZ has learned.
We’ve confirmed … Brown boarded a Gulfstream 3 jet in Burbank and was headed for Teterboro, NJ … so he could attend the Met Gala event.
But sources tell us … roughly 7 to 8 minutes into the flight, everyone on board began to notice smoke filling the plane.
One source told us, “It was A LOT of smoke … everywhere.”
The pilot immediately turned the plane around and performed an emergency landing back at Burbank airport.
We’re told the passengers were scared … but the pilot was cool, calm and collected … and couldn’t have handled the situation better.
Here’s the crazy part — after the plane touched down, Brown decided he STILL wanted to get to the Met Gala event in NY … and boarded ANOTHER private jet within an hour of touching down.
Well, it’s good that no one else was hurt because I have to assume that they’re not all assholes like him. As for Chris himself, well… meh. It’s a shame he wasn’t in the jet alone and that it didn’t go the way of the Bermuda Triangle.
Relationships taking place on/ending because of social media is something that should be limited to the 12-16 age group, and yet grown ass adults are still obsessed with posting their every action with their significant other all over Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, tumblr and whatever the f-ck else is out there to share shit on. I get it – you’re proud to be with your lady/man. Live it up! But I shouldn’t have to read about how “LOL Mark is sooooo gross he just farted and put my head under the cover OMGGG nasty but I love my man <3 <3 <3″ every five seconds. Kill me now.
Anyway, Chris Brown, Rihanna and Drake haven’t got the message on this, apparently, because all this drama is unfolding over bullshit that’s not even anything and totally doesn’t matter. Here’s how it apparently went down: Rihanna decided to follow Drake on Instagram and liked one of his photos. Because Drake is Chris Brown’s mortal enemy, Chris decided to unfollow Rihanna on Twitter less than 24 hours after that. Instead, Chris is now following his ex-girfriend, Karrueche Tran. LOL to all of this.
Drake hasn’t said anything to anyone, so he’s not really part of this whole nonsense. He’s probably writing poetry by candlelight (the candle which illuminates his Rihanna shrine, natch) and thinking that it was totally worth it to steal a strand of her hair from a hotel pillowcase for his love potion. It’s working, Drake! It’s really working!
Chris Brown must be pretty insecure if he thinks an Instagram follow means anything besides “I’m too lazy to look up your profile every time I wanna creep on what you’re doing so I guess I’ll put you in my timeline”. Rihanna does seem like the type to f-ck with Chris, though, and this is one situation in which I actually support such behaviour.
Everyone hates Chris Brown, including his “fans” in Ghana, where he’s apparently wanted for prosecution for smoking weed on stage and promoting drug use and “taking up arms” during his show earlier this month at the Accra Sports Stadium Concert in honor of the 56th anniversary of the country’s independence. After asking the crowd if they smoke weed, the walking shit smear lit a blunt on stage and said, “If anybody is tripping off ya’ll smoking weed, f-ck them. Shit, I got my blunt right here.”
From Radio.com:
“He promoted an illegality,” Ghanaian youth activist Jonathan Osei-Owusu, told Radio.com. “You can see from the video and yet he was let go free.”
Osei-Owusu is the executive director of Perfector of Sentiments [POS], a youth advocacy organization in Ghana. He is leading the campaign to have Chris Brown stand trial for promoting the public smoking of marijuana to a stadium full of young people.
In a petition obtained by Radio.com Osei-Owusu calls on key figures in Ghana, including Parliament and the U.S. Ambassador in Ghana, to act. He accuses Brown of inciting young people to rage against their country’s laws.
“He is on video to have encouraged the audience to take up arms against people who stand in their way to smoking weed,” the statement reads. “In our prisons, many are incarcerated for same.”
Listen, no one gives a shit that you smoke weed. It should be decriminalized – if not fully legalized. Still, Chris Brown is like a 16-year-old who just smoked his first joint in his parents’ garage while they were out for the night and thinks he’s sooooo cool bragging about it the next day at school. Just light up and shut up already.
The event organizers have said it was an orchestrated stunt and Brown was not smoking marijuana. But Osei-Owusu insists that it was weed Brown was puffing on stage.
“When you live in the city or the village, you understand the smell of marijuana,” he said. “I was there. We smelled weed. That is what he promoted.”
Not only does Ghana have strict laws against drug possession and use, the country recently passed a law to ban smoking tabacco in public places. The penalty can be a steep fine and/or up to three years in prison.
“The last two days, I have been with the police and an investigation has commenced,” Osei-Owusu said. “The police have moved swiftly and they are not leaving anything unturned.”
Bless Osei-Owusu’s heart – he’s really going for it. You’d think, since he’s a youth advocate, that he’d be equally – if not more – concerned about the message Chris Brown sends to kids about how to treat women – you know, not beating the shit out of them or talking about how you “own that p-ssy” in front of crowds of people. Or you might worry that he might teach your youth intolerance and abuse towards gays and lesbians, or lashing out when you don’t get your own way or any number of other things. I don’t think weed’s the problem here, nor do I think anything will happen here (other than maybe CB never returning to the country), but one can dream about him being deported and imprisoned in the middle of Ghana, never to be seen again.
Here’s some video of the gig if you like torturing yourself:
