I really don’t know what’s going on with Katy Perry. I don’t know if she’s really reuniting with John Mayer. I don’t know if Katy is trying to make something happen with Robert Pattinson. I don’t know if she’s trying to juggle both men at the same time. Here is what I currently believe – and this is just my Twihard conspiracy theory, with NO Twihard Proof – I believe that Katy and Sparkles are exploring something. I think they were friends and they’re still friends and Katy is rubbing her glitter-boobs on him and he likes it. I also think that she’s still got some unfinished business with John Mayer, and she’s keeping Mayer around as a “cover” for the Sparkles stuff, at least until she and Rob figure out what they’re doing. Maybe Katy knows she’s just his rebound and she’s fine with that. Maybe she and Rob have convinced themselves that this is something “real”. I don’t know. But I do think there’s some glitter-boob action.
Anyway, yesterday I saw that some of you were Twihard-Proofing the reports that Katy and Rob were in LA together, and they attended a Bjork concert together. The Mail is reporting it too, so here you go:
They’ve been a shoulder to cry on for each other since their respective splits from Kristen Stewart and John Mayer. And on Saturday night, Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry spent yet more time together as they attended a Bjork concert at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
The pair were said to have met up ‘discreetly’ and made their way into the gig together before leaving separately to avoid photographers waiting outside the venue, X17Online.com reports.
Katy, 28, opted for a gothic inspired ensemble for her evening out with her showbiz pal, teaming a punky leather miniskirt with a black and silver crucifix logo T-shirt. And in spite of her A-list pal, Katy paid no reference to her company as she expressed her delight at the gig over Twitter, writing: ‘Dear Bjork, how do I join your traveling girl cult? #brilliantshow.’
Katy and Robert have been spending a lot of time together in recent weeks, and it’s even been claimed the songstress has even taken her pal to visit her parents in Santa Barbara, California.
A source told Grazia magazine: ‘Katy and Robert have been spending a lot of time together recently and it’s safe to say there is serious chemistry. Katy thought the break from LA would do Rob good, and since he was no longer living with Kristen, she didn’t hesitate in inviting him to join her. But she doesn’t want to ruin their friendship by rushing into anything.’
Katy was said to have been disapproving of Robert’s reconciliation with Twilight co-star Kristen last year following her fling with married director Rupert Sanders.
A source told Life & Style magazine: ‘Katy never really supported Rob’s decision to get back with Kristen. She always said they wouldn’t last. Katy told Rob she didn’t think their relationship could withstand the cheating scandal. And he deserved better than someone who would destroy a family [like Rupert’s].’
Despite the couple managing to patch things up after a two-month break following Kristen’s ‘momentary indiscretion’ with Rupert last year, it is thought their relationship is over for good this time after Rob was spotted moving his belongings out of her home in Los Feliz earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Katy split from musician John Mayer in mid-March, but the on-off couple are recently said to have rekindled their turbulent romance.

Huh. You know what’s puzzling me? Is John Mayer going along with this arrangement? John Mayer is a well-known d-bag who can’t keep his mouth shut. I wonder what Katy said to him to get him to stay quiet about this? Anyway, you can Twihard-Proof away. The Mail only has photos of Katy Perry entering the Palladium, and no photos of Rob. Which means it never happened, right? Yeah. I still don’t know.
