Look, I know the source is somewhat wonky on this one, but is it really so hard to believe that Gwyneth Paltrow is being insufferable about her perfectly orchestrated divorce announcement? She and Chris Martin announced their “conscious uncoupling” last month, and apparently Goopy hasn’t shut up about it since because she thinks she did so brilliantly with it. From Radar Online: “’Conscious uncoupling’ has become a joke among Gwyneth’s friend,” a source close to the 41-year-old Country Strong star told Radar. “All she’s doing is bragging about how peaceful her divorce is and how she and Chris planned it so perfectly that it is hardly disrupting their lives.” “Gwyneth has always thought she had the most perfect life and even though she’s getting a divorce and both of them are getting bad press she doesn’t care,” the source told Radar. “She has become insufferable saying how happy she is with the way everything is evolving,” the source told Radar. “It’s so ridiculous to listen to her talk as if nothing bad is going on at all for her.  But Gwyneth has always had a protected privileged life and this is no different.” LOL, yeah, this actually sounds 100% legit. Selena Gomez hired Katy Perry’s manager

Selena Gomez is going through some shit right now, it seems. She doesn’t really know her ass from her elbow, so she’s being all erratic and deleting friends from her life, firing her parents as her managers, hanging out with Justin Bieber, etc. Homegirl is all over the place. While Selena’s parents were pretty shocked to get the boot out of nowhere (and had to read about it in the press rather than being told directly, apparently), the show must go on and she needed new representation, so she hired Katy Perry‘s manager, some dude called Bradford Cobb. From US Weekly: Cobb, who was listed as one of Billboard’s 40 executives under 40 in July 2013, has spent more than a decade in the industry making a name for himself, and was instrumental in making Katy Perry a pop superstar. Gomez, who parted ways with her label Hollywood Records, seems ready to reinvent her career. Her 2013 album Stars Dance was her first number one on the Billboard 200, with hits “Come & Get It” and “Slow Down.” Bless her heart – I guess she’s trying. Leave Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult alone

Jennifer Lawrence will play the Hollywood game as much as she can – being charming and down-to-earth in interviews, being in great movies, yada yada – but she’s not too fond of the paparazzi, especially when she’s just trying to spend time with boyfriend Nicholas Hoult. The pair were out and about in London and JLaw got a little tired of the photographers following her, so she turned around and flipped the bird. Here’s E! Online‘s full scoop of their day out, since apparently they have stalkers following celebrities 24/7: After dinner, the two went to the Dorchester bar and snuck out of the side door into a pink taxi cab, which was adorned with a picture of newlyweds holding hands in paradise. Fittingly, Lawrence flipped the bird as the taxi drove off with the words “Love is all you need” printed above her head on the back of the cab. According to eyewitness, Jennifer was not happy to see the cameras, and Nicholas tried to get her to put her hand down, but she kept it up until the paps were out of sight. Earlier in the day, the two were spotted lunching for just less than two hours at the Italian restaurant Pesantissimo in London, where they were seen enjoying some wine after they finished their meal. According to an eyewitness, the couple was very cute together—they were joking around a lot and were really enjoying each other’s company. Nicholas was on the phone at one point and in signature Lawrence fashion, the Oscar winner was laughing and making faces at the X Men star. She even grabbed the phone from Nicholas and laughed with the person on the phone as well. The two were left alone during lunch; no one approached them for autographs or pics. The source added that the loved-up couple was very sweet with each other, holding hands as they walked. I mean, I really didn’t need to know all that, but okay. So, George Clooney just got engaged…

If ever a time came when the apocalypse seemed closer than ever, that day is today, because George Clooney is apparently engaged. The world’s biggest bachelor and sexy silver fox is said to have proposed to girlfriend Amal Alamuddin. Keep in mind they’ve been dating less than a year, and the news is coming from the New York Post’s Page Six, but it seems pretty solid. Alamuddin, 36, was spotted showing off an engagement ring as she and Clooney, 52, dined at Nobu in Malibu on Thursday night with Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber. A source told Page Six, “George and Amal hoped keep the engagement quiet, but they can’t hide the fact that they are very happy.” When contacted on Friday night by Page Six, Clooney’s rep Stan Rosenfield didn’t confirm or deny the engagement, simply telling us, “I do not comment on his personal life.” Huh, very strange. I don’t know why I’m shocked that Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney are still going strong. I literally know nothing about their relationship (or about Taylor Kinney full stop), but for some reason it’s somewhat shocking to me that they’re not only still together but apparently pretty in love and doing really well. Huh, go figure. From US Weekly: “It’s someone who’s always in your corner, that believes in you and your work, and vice versa,” Kinney said of his longterm girlfriend. “You know, I love what she does and her work and music and charity. She inspires so many people including myself.” When asked if he was ready to settle down with the NYC native, he coyly paused and smiled before saying, “Not that I’ll talk about.” Aw, well ain’t that sweet? I honestly cannot imagine what Gaga must be like in a relationship. Like, when she’s not “on” and acting like she just escaped from an insane asylum – when she’s just Stefani Germanotta. Selena Gomez has dumped the “toxic” Jenners as friends

Selena Gomez seemed to be getting pretty pally with Kylie and Kendall Jenner and was seen hanging out with them quite a lot. They even went to Coachella together, which we all know is the one true sign of friendship. Unfortunately, their sisterhood was not to laugh, as Selena erased all her photos with them on Instagram this past week, unfollowed them (and Taylor Swift, so who knows what’s happening there) and is apparently pretty pissed off since Kylie apparently slept with Justin Bieber? From TMZ: Sources close to Selena tell us, the singer had an epiphany after Coachella last week — where she was surrounded by booze and drugs while hanging with the Jenner girls, Justin Bieber … and all the hangers-on that come with them. We’re told Selena’s sick of that scene — so she’s decided to cut out what she considers the biggest sources of negativity … Jenner girls included. Selena made the cut official, and public … by unfollowing Kendall and Kylie on Instagram. She also deleted all her Coachella selfies with the sisters. The Insta-purge continued … with Bieber and a bunch of others getting dropped — and, in fact, she’s currently following ZERO people. We’re told Selena is determined to stay on the straight and narrow — focusing on music and, get this … going to church almost daily. Huh, okay. Oh, and about that Kylie/JB affair – here’s what The Sun had to say about it: “Selena is convinced something has gone on between Justin and Kylie,” an insider tells the British publication, adding that Gomez went “berserk.” Upon learning of this hook-up, she “called [things] off” with Bieber. What’s with celebrity pregnancy photo shoots?

Look, pregnancy is awesome, ladies. You’re growing a baby in your body! You look fantastic! You’re glowing! No, you’re not fat – you’re going to be a mom! Life is so cool! But seriously, why in the hell do so many celebrity ladies feel the need to do the whole “sensual pregnancy” photo shoots? Honestly, it’s out of control. Ciara‘s is sorta modest as, you know, she actually has clothes on, but really? I don’t really need to see this shit from her or anyone else. The whole “hold your belly while you look off into the distance or close your eyes as if in some kind of bliss” thing is just… weird and slightly creepy. That’s not to say that Ciara and all of these other women who do these pictures aren’t beautiful and that their pregnancy isn’t memorable for them, but that’s the key: FOR THEM. If you wanna do a photo shoot like this, knock yourself out! Get prints and hang them in your own private residence. The bizarre magazine fixation on features like this is just so confusing. Ciara’s photos are for W magazine – and if you wanted to have less faith in her as a human being and future parent, keep in mind that she’s BFF with Kim Kardashian these days and has been asking her for advice on motherhood: I believe in allowing your child to be who they want to be—as long as they want to be something great.” That piece of parenting wisdom, she says, comes courtesy of Kardashian, with whom she’s traded tips on “everything from breastfeeding to how a stroller works.” “You don’t know your child until they get here, you don’t know their personality,” Ciara says. “There is a lot of learning to do.
