Actress Bonnie Franklin, best known for her role as Anne Romano on the 70s-80s sitcom One Day at a Time died at her Los Angeles home Friday. She was 69.
Franklin had been battling pancreatic cancer since her diagnosis in September. It’s always so sad to se how quickly aggressive cancers can take a life.
Franklin got her start on Broadway before entering the world of television. During her career she was nominated for a Tony, an Emmy and two Golden Globes. For 29-years she was married to movie director Marvin Minoff, until his death in 2009.
