Usher releases new song exclusively in… boxes of Cheerios at Wal-Mart

I know things are getting a little seedy in the music world because people aren’t wanting to pay for music and we’re all just downloading everything, but it seems like times are really getting desperate for Usher, who released a new song exclusively in boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios sold at Wal-Mart. LOL, okay. From Billboard: A new song by Usher will be the prize at the bottom of select cereal boxes. Starting Tuesday, a exclusive single will be available for download with specially-marked Honey Nut Cheerios packages purchased at Walmart stores across the country. The track is called “Clueless” and comes amidst a prolonged wait for the singer’s new album, UR. Well, that’s… awesome for him, I guess? Frankly, I’d toss the music and just eat all the Honey Nut Cheerios. They’re so, so good – I haven’t had them in years! What do you think is happening here? Gwen Stefani unveils sneak peak of new single, ‘Spark the Fire’

Gwen Stefani is DIVINE. She’s absolutely beautiful and incredibly stylish and could grace every single page of Vogue without seeming out of place (or eliciting any complaints). However, her personality is slightly grating (she’s got a touch of the crazies, I think) and her music is fucking horrendous, for the most part. Take her new single, ‘Spark the Fire’ – so far we’ve only heard about 45 seconds of it, but that’s 44 seconds too many for me to know that it’s terrible. I guess now that she’s coaching a new generation of wannabe stars on The Voice, she’s probably itching to get back to her music. But this is some amateur shit you’d expect from a 15-year-old from Bumblefuck who thinks they know what “urban music” should sound like. Kelly Clarkson brings her baby to work

Kelly Clarkson gave birth to daughter River Rose back in June, and now she’s back on the work grind. While on set to shoot her new music video, she decided to bring her baby along for the fun and shared the above photo on Instagram. Her new album will be out early next year, and this video is for a single that will be included on it. The baby might even turn up in the video, according to Kelly. So cute! Pink has a new music project called You+Me

Pink is an amazing musician who makes great music and I think we’ve all been waiting to see what she’ll do next. Well, it’s not what you’d expect. Alecia Moore (Pink’s real name) teamed up with Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green to form a group called You+Me. They’re about to release an album in a couple weeks’ time, and in advance, they’ve got a single called ‘Capsized’. I have to admit this is an entirely different sound than we’d expect from Pink, which is, I suppose, the point. I’m not really sure how I feel about it – if I’m not all that into it because I like the music Alecia puts out as Pink, or I’m just not into it in general, but this doesn’t do much for me.
