Aubrey Plaza drunk stage rush
Aubrey Plaza made her mark on the MTV Movie Awards this weekend after bum rushing the stage as Will Ferrell accepted his award for Comedic Genius.
The actress left her front row seat, walked onstage as Ferrell was speaking and tried to grab his award with one hand while clutching her drink in the other. Ferrell pulled back, not letting her take it, and the awkward struggle was, well, just weird.
“What’s happening?” Ferrell asked calmly. “Are you okay?”
“Yep!” Plaza quickly replied then turned toward the audience to return to her seat. We see the hashtag #ToDoList written on her chest with a Sharpie. Classy! She makes her way back to her seat, and as she sits, she spills her drink on the floor. She barely notices. She looks like she is flat out BOMBED!
“Aubrey Plaza, everyone,” says Will as he points to her. The camera pans to her and she’s shaking her head…like the rest of us. But hey, all MTV awards shows are supposed to have something a little crazy happen, it’ tradition.
