Justin Bieber’s mom is in trouble now

Apparently Justin Bieber‘s been paying rent on a California mansion for his mother, Pattie Mallette, for the past two years. It’s a pretty nice place – 2,900 square feet, in fact – but now there’s a bit of trouble brewing over some illegal construction she wants to do. From TMZ: Seems Pattie wanted to do some home improvement in her home gym but never got the permission of her landlord.  She had a mirror installed last summer, but didn’t pay the bill.  So the company that did the work has filed a lien against the property … and her landlord was none too pleased. The lien was for a modest $3,414.  We’re told Pattie thought she was being overcharged and refused to pay.  Pattie settled up a week ago for around $2,600.  And TMZ informed the landlord Friday and he was PISSED! As for who’s paying the $8,000 monthly rent … we’ve learned one of Justin’s companies is handling it. “One of Justin’s companies” must be the code name for the team of lawyers he’s hired specifically to do settlements/plea deals for all the fuckery he gets involved in, I’m sure. Chris Brown on jail: ‘I feel like a caged animal’

Chris Brown has been ordered to stay in jail for a month but he’s been trying to buy his way out of there since apparently the law doesn’t apply to him. Apparently, he’s having a pretty tough time in the slammer and is feeling a bit like a caged animal. Yay! From TMZ: You’d think the photos of Rihanna‘s battered face would have left an impression … on him.  But apparently it took a few days in solitary to shake Chris to the core. One source — who recently spoke with Brown on the phone — tells us, Chris says he feels like “a caged animal,” calling it “the worst experience of my life.” We’re told Chris has been spending his time behind bars working out and writing music.  He’s telling people on the phone, “I’ll never f*** up again.” HAHAHA. Yeah, okay. Look, you’re in JAIL, dude. Prison. That means it’s not SUPPOSED to be some cushy funhouse that’s just like being at home. You are being punished for repeated shitty behaviour, so it’s not particularly meant to be some pie in the sky experience. Jesus. I say we keep him there for another few months, even years. Sarah Michelle Gellar threw shade at the Kimye ‘Vogue’ cover

Lots of people aren’t very happy about the fact that Kim & Kanye got their own Vogue cover, and I can’t really blame them. These two are a disaster, and certainly not really meant for the cover of a premiere fashion magazine (though try telling them that). While plenty of celebrities had their complaints, I’m sure, one stood brave enough to actually throw shade publicly, and it was none other than Buffy the Vampire Slayer herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar. I mean, in one sense, Sarah Michelle Gellar has been on the cover of Vogue zero times, so there could be a bit of hateration there. In the other sense, I totally get where she’s coming from. The magazine took a massive step down by putting Kimye on the cover, 100%, but I think it’s pretty hilarious that SMG (and so many others) have sworn it off forever because of this. Meanwhile, Anna Wintour has insisted that Kimye didn’t beg for the cover, it was TOTALLY her own decision (LOL, kay): “Part of the pleasure of editing Vogue, one that lies in a long tradition of this magazine, is being able to feature those who define the culture at any given moment, who stir things up, whose presence in the world shapes the way it looks and influences the way we see it,” Wintour, 64, wrote. “I think we can all agree on the fact that that role is currently being played by Kim and Kanye to a T. (Or perhaps that should be to a K?)” “As for the cover, my opinion is that it is both charming and touching, and it was, I should add, entirely our idea to do it; you may have read that Kanye begged me to put his fiancee on Vogue‘s cover. Alyssa Milano’s pregnant with her second child

Alyssa Milano and husband David Bugliari are already parents to a 2-year-old son named Milo (my dog’s name!!), but now he’s about to have a younger sibling, because they’re now expecting their second child! From US Weekly: “Alyssa is so excited to be pregnant again!” a source adds to Us. “She just recently started showing and has wanted to expand her family with David for a while.” Well, that’s nice – and I legit mean that, because I know next to nothing about Alyssa Milano. What I do know is that this will most likely re-open the door to her feud with Jay Mohr, who was a fat-shaming asshole after she had her first baby. Ugh. Paul Walker asked his mom to care for his daughter the day he died

Paul Walker tragically passed away last November after a car crash, leaving behind a teenage daughter, Meadow. It was recently revealed that Paul’s mother Cheryl was seeking full custody of her, and now it seems clear why: apparently Paul asked Cheryl to look after Meadow full-time just hours before he died. From TMZ: Sources close to the Walker family tell us … Paul approached his mother, Cheryl, on November 30th and asked her to retire from her nursing job to take care of Meadow full-time. Turns out Walker had been overwhelmed with his work schedule and couldn’t juggle that with his parental responsibilities.  So in August — 3 months before he died — Meadow moved in with Cheryl, who was working full time. Paul hired a series of nannies to care for Meadow when Cheryl was on the job, but none of them worked out. So finally … on the morning of his death, Paul called Cheryl and said he had given up on the nanny search and wanted her to be a full-time, stay-at-home grandma.  Cheryl agreed, and Paul then called other family members to inform them of his decision. Huh. Apparently Meadow’s mother has a serious drinking problem, so her caring for Meadow is out of the question. I’m sure there’ll be no objections to this arrangement, but here’s hoping it goes smoothly, because I think everyone in that family has been through quite enough trauma. Madonna’s ‘Game of Thrones’ costume was actually the real thing

Unfortunately, the image of Madonna dressed as Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones for Purim is burned into our minds forevermore. However, even though it was an absolute mess, everyone had to admit she did a pretty impressive job in looking the part. Well, turns out, there’s a reason for that: it was Emilia Clarke‘s actual costume from the show! “It’s my real costume. I thought I was dreaming. I got an email from amazing HBO publicist Mara, saying, ‘Madonna would like to borrow the costume, is that okay?’ I thought, ‘God, this must be a dream.
