According to Maxim, there are 100 women that are just too hot to handle, and their 2014 Hot 100 list has an interesting choice in the number one spot: model Candice Swanepoel. Sure, she’s beautiful, but… the MOST? Eh, I dunno. And yes, I do think it’s dumb that lists like this even exist, but as I’ve said before, they always will, and no amount of bitching about it is ever going to change it. So instead, we discuss, apparently. As Maxim creative director Paul Martinez said of their #1 spot: “Candice Swanepoel is the ideal embodiment of the new Maxim brand: stunning, sophisticated, elegant. It’s not only her flawless beauty and effortless grace that have garnered her the coveted 2014 Hot 100 Number 1 placement, but also her business acumen. She has risen to become one of the world’s top supermodels and has transcended the accolade to become a global brand. It’s hard to imagine a woman more perfect.” But who else rounded out the Top 10? Here we go… 1. Candice Swanepoel 2. Scarlett Johansson 3. Katy Perry 4. Irina Shayk 5. Jennifer Lawrence 6. Zooey Deschanel 7. Alessandra Ambrosio 8. Jessica Alba 9. Mila Kunis 10. Cara Delevingne I dunno about that Top 10 – none of those people really jump out at me. I think Katy’s hot, but she’s more sorta just really pretty rather than “hot” – to me, at least.
