You know how Britney Spears was all pumped about being single and was excited to get back into the dating game after kicking David Lucado to the curb? Well, it seems like that may have been a front because according to some “sources” (which, I’m sure, are totally reliable), she’s struggling with being on her own. From OK! Magazine (via Contact Music): An insider told America’s OK! magazine: ”Britney’s been on an emotional roller coaster.” ”Britney was sure she’d found someone she and her boys could settle down with. After so many ups and downs with guys, she’s totally destroyed. She’s taking some time to reconsider her life right now.” The blonde beauty – who announced the split via her Twitter account – is keeping busy with her ‘Piece of Me’ residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas in a bid to distract herself from the break-up. The source said: ”Her shows are the only thing keeping her going.” To be honest, I’m not sure how this is news or evidence of a breakdown. Aren’t all breakups really upsetting, especially when under the kind of circumstances? She was cheated on, which is doubly hurtful than both parties just deciding a relationship isn’t working anymore. Apparently she had to have her makeup redone twice backstage before a show the other night because she was crying. Why is that weird? Why does that mean she’s out of control and not coping? She’s upset because someone she trusted fucked her over, and this isn’t the first time it’s happened.
