Adele Dethrones Taylor Swift As Queen Of YouTube

For a while now, Taylor Swift has comfortably been sat upon her Internet throne, knowing that she had won the 24-Hour Vevo award. In other words, her “Bad Blood” video had received 20 million views in 24 hour — and impressive feat, and better than any other artist, including the likes of One Direction and Miley Cyrus, had ever achieved. However, the fun’s all over for Swifty now, as Adele has easily outdone her with 23 million views in the 24 hours after “Hello” was released on Friday million. You go, Adele! Now, less than five full days later, the video has just about 90 million views. No doubt this will be breaking some more records in the day to come, but I think it’s clear that Adele is back and ready to “snatch wigs” from all the other pop stars that have comfortably been resting at the top of the charts while she took time off. Beyonce Will Go Head To Head With Channing Tatum On ‘Lip Sync Battle’

If you’re not simultaneously into karaoke and celebrities acting like giant dorks, you probably don’t like Lip Sync Battle. Many of us do, however, and I’ve definitely cracked up at many of the show’s previous duels. However, the series — an offshoot of a segment Jimmy Fallon used to do on his late night talk show — is about to get its biggest guest ever when Channing Tatum faces off against Beyonce in an upcoming episode. Say whaaaat? From Entertainment Weekly: Along with Beyoncé and Tatum, the second season will also feature a battle between Marvel actors Hayley Atwell and Clark Gregg. Although this specific episode doesn’t yet have a specific air date, the series returns for its second season in 2016. Uh, YES. This will likely get the highest ratings ever, and while Bey occasionally gets on my last damn nerve, if she continues to keep a low profile until this airs, it’ll probably be refreshing to see her again. Mike Tyson Thinks Donald Trump Should Be President

Anyone who makes a living out of getting repeatedly punched in the head for several decades can’t be expected to have much common sense, so it’s not really any surprise that Mike Tyson has quite a few screws loose. He’s an ear-biting, pigeon loving lunatic, and generally this is harmless and pretty amusing. However, it’s also a bit worrying at times, like when he publicly comes out in support of Donald Trump for president. Uh, what? In an interview with Huffington Post Live, Mike said that he thinks Donald’s a good candidate for the highest office in the land because then America can be “run like a business” and racism magically won’t exist. Because, you know, Donald Trump isn’t one of the most racist men on the planet. “He should be president of the United States. Let’s try something new. Let’s run America like a business, where no colors matter. Whoever can do the job, gets the job.” So how does Tyson react to Trump’s endless tirades about Mexicans? Oh, he’s just misunderstood! “I don’t think he thinks of Latinos in that way. I really don’t believe that. He’s a businessman. He’s just saying what the people want and the people want to hear that. If you believe that he believes that, you have to believe that most of the country believes that because they’re voting for him. “I don’t believe 90 percent of the country believe Latinos that were born here and their parents are illegal got to go. Ellen DeGeneres Never Thought She Was Going To Come Out

I actually can remember a time before Ellen DeGeneres was openly gay. Back when Ellen was on the air, the episode in which her character came out was a massive shock to many, but I remember even though I was pretty young at the time, I just felt like, “Right, that makes sense.” It certainly hasn’t hurt her career at all, at least not in the long run, and now she’s happily married to Portia de Rossi and they’re basically the cutest couple ever (and seriously I won’t be able to cope if they ever break up). Life is good, but incidentally, Ellen never actually thought she’d come out publicly. In an interview on Oprah’s Master Class, Ellen admitted that it was a trip to a meditation camp in Big Sur, California that finally convinced her to be true to herself and speak out on who she is. It wasn’t an easy process, but it ultimately paid off. I love Ellen and I think pretty much everyone else feels the same, so I’m really glad she’s found peace with herself and is able to live honestly.
