Katherine Heigl is asking you for money. She’s looking to raise funds for her film Jenny’s Wedding, and she’s doing it via Indiegogo. Like Kickstarter, Indiegogo uses crowdfunding to help people reach their goals to fund their projects. Some celebs, like Zach Braff, have had success with this method. Others have failed. Melissa Joan Hart couldn’t raise enough money, nor could Zosia Mamet.

‘Dance Moms’ Drama Is Back TONIGHT!

I know I already told you how much I love Dance Moms, but now it’s getting serious – the fourth season premieres TONIGHT. I don’t think I’ve been this excited since we got surprised with the new Beyoncé album last month. What’s going to happen now that the girls are national champions? Who’s going to crack under the pressure? Who will quit dancing FOREVER? THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME. All I know is this: this season will definitely include lots of drama! Abby’s going on a nationwide tour to scout for new star dancers, and you know that means a fight with the other girls’ mothers is inevitable. These women are ruthless when it comes to someone stealing their babies’ spotlight. Can’t you just hear the blood-curdling screams right now?

Filming ‘Gravity’ Really Depressed Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock is lovely and really sweet and one of the least offensive stars in Hollywood and I’ve been wanting to see Gravity for EVER (I need to hit up that IMAX – is it worth it?) so it sucks that she dealt with depression while shooting the film. The nature of the the whole “stuck in space” storyline meant she had to spend a fair bit of time in an isolation tank – we’re talking 8-10 hours some days – which really took a toll on her mental and emotional state.

From The View (via DS):

“I was depressed, I was angry, I would get so sad because it was a black room, no human contact, they took away sound.”

Bullock explained that director Alfonso Cuarón helped her through difficult periods by bringing her son Louis to her.

“What they did was, Alfonso could see, because he had cameras always on my face, he would be like, ‘She’s cracking, she’s cracking, go get the kid’.

“They’d created this whole wonderland just outside for Louis [to keep him occupied during filming], so [they brought him in].”

Aw, that’s sweet. We all know Louis is the cutest kid EVER, so I can see why that would cheer anyone up, to be honest. I can imagine that would be really depressing, though. Ahhh, I gotta see this movie!

I’ve been saying for ages that I think a large part of Miley‘s meltdown in recent months has to do with her breakup from Liam Hemsworth. You know how it is when you’re young – you’re in a relationship that you think is going to last forever and when it ends, you have no idea what to do with yourself or who you even are without this other person and so you go nuts and do shit that isn’t “you” at all, just to get as far away from anything that reminds you of that person. The issue here is that Miley has a world stage to do it on, which magnifies and encourages it, plus she has lots of money to buy lots of drugs which makes her have lots of fucked up ideas and it all spirals downhill.

However, Miley swears that’s not the case at all. In fact, she doesn’t even think about Liam anymore and just loves being alone – it’s you guys who won’t stop thinking about him! LAME.

“I think people spend more time actually thinking about it than I really do. I just believe when a chapter is done you have to close it and start that new one. That’s kind of where I am right now. I felt like I have so much to be thankful for at this time that my energy hasn’t really been focused on that.

“I’ve been kind of impressed with people and how much they’ve actually shown more respect. I don’t really look up anything, so maybe they haven’t been showing respect.

“I want to be really clear and determined with everything I’m doing in my life right now, and I have been. I keep saying I’m the happiest I’ve ever been and that’s not even a dig. That’s just me, because I really am genuinely happy finally with myself, which I think sometimes it takes you separating yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are. I’ve never been able to just be alone, and I’m obsessed with being alone and like hearing my thoughts.”

Oh dear. Miley’s in that self-obsessed phase of her early 20s, I see. I can’t imagine that her thoughts are all that interesting, but hey, whatever.

‘Once Upon a Time’s Snow White and Prince Charming Are Getting Married!

Do you guys watch Once Upon a Time? That’s one of the shows I actually DO keep up with. It’s hilariously bad writing and acting all around, but it’s so good! The ideas and storylines are clever and it makes for compulsive viewing, even if it is a little laughable at times (same goes for Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, which just started – I’ll be watching that until it’s inevitably canceled, as well).

In any case, I had no idea that Snow White and Prince Charming were actually dating in real life! Did you? That’s right, Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas are actually an item… and now they’re engaged!

Dallas popped the question in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

“We are so thrilled to announce our engagement and can’t wait to celebrate with our friends and family, including our second family at Once Upon a Time,” the couple said in a statement to PEOPLE.

The two met on the set of the series and took their relationship public in April 2012.

“It hit me like a blinding light,” Dallas said of falling for his castmate. “I thought, ‘I’m in trouble now.’ ”

No word yet on a wedding date.

Well, that’s sweet. Fairy tales can come true… or something, right? Admittedly, the softy part of me (which, I assure you, is very tiny and generally well-concealed) thinks it’s really cute that they’ve actually fallen in love. I don’t usually care about things like that, but they’re Prince Charming and Snow White! Aw! At least Ginnifer has something to smile about now.

Kanye West Blames That Paparazzi Attack on His Grandfather Dying

We all do crazy things when we’re under stress – we lash out at those closest to us, maybe we sleep a lot or slack off at work or become recluses. Kanye West grabs photographers, puts them in a headlock and smashes their cameras… at least that’s his explanation for his fight with a paparazzo earlier this year. You see, Kanye had just found out his grandfather was dying, so he felt like going out and busting some heads, I suppose.

Here’s what he told TMZ:

“It’s not about being a superstar, it’s about being a human being… If you had a daughter, and you guys say crazy shit to me all the time, I couldn’t imagine my daughter being 4 years old and you guys screaming at us.

“The guy set me up at the airport the other day, laughing and shit. That was the day I found out that my grandfather was not gonna make it. But when I’m coming out the airport, they tried to antagonise me and I tried to stop his camera.”

“He fell down, faked it and then people were like ‘Why did you hit that guy?’ I obviously didn’t hit the guy. But I’m going through shit, I’m trying to have a business call… I know you guys are gonna photograph me, it’s all good – we’re in this together, you guys help me, you help Kim’s power and everything.”I’m not trying to fuck you guys. I’d prefer if we just had a decent [relationship].”

That must be the most words Kanye has ever spoken to the paps in his entire career combined. Also, that’s quite a change of heart from two days ago on Jimmy Kimmel when he went on his “I don’t care about cameras, I’m a creative genius and there’s no denying it” rant. Still, I do agree with his protectiveness over his daughter, and I’m glad he realises that Kim thrives on the paparazzi and would be nothing without them. Sometimes Kanye speaks truth – though the whole “I hit him cos he was antagonizing me” thing is stupid.
