Edward Norton and Shauna Robertson are about to experience being parents for the first time!
Norton and Robertson got engaged in 2011 and have been together since 2007, and according to reports, the happy couple is due to have their baby “any day now”.
The 43-year-old actor is reportedly ecstatic about becoming a dad. An insider recently said of the situation, “Ed is really excited for fatherhood. He helped pick out a stroller for the baby!”
Robertson, a Canadian film producer, has worked alongside Judd Apatow on movies such as The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up, and has even worked with her fiancé. The two apparently co-founded a charity website called CrowdRise, which like a social networking site for different charities.
Back in 2010, Norton publicly praised his girlfriend in an interview with Hustler honcho Larry Flynt, telling him he was impressed with her background. He said of her, “She came here from Canada with nothing when she was 17 and lied about her age to get a job at Disney. By the time she was 33, she had produced $1 billion worth of comedies. She and Judd Apatow started Apatow films. She produced Elf, Anchorman, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and Knocked Up.”
Robertson does sound like a go-getter and just the perfect match for Norton. This is such great news! Norton is one of my favorite actors and definitely one of my celeb crushes of the ‘90s. Amazing how time flies, it seems like just yesterday he was dating Courtney Love, remember that? They were together for three years in the late ‘90s and then he moved onto Salma Hayek, whom he dated for a few years. And here we are a decade later. Glad to see him healthy and happy.
