So you know that new Fall Out Boy album we’ve all been waiting for? Well the anticipation is growing! We’ve found out that the boys have welcomed two of rock’s finest bitches musicians to be included in on it…Save Rock & Roll, which comes out April 16th, will feature the legendary Elton John and our favorite Skinny Little Bitch, Courtney Love!
On Wednesday the band’s bassist, Pete Wentz, took to Twitter to ask fans, “Wanna guess what blonde hair singer we got on the record?” With that question fans chimed in with their guesses; everything Pink to Madonna to Miley Cyrus, but the guys left everyone in suspense until Thursday when they tweeted, “It’s Courtney bitch” along with this funny, six-second clip. “Rat-a-tat-tat, rat-a-tat-tat-tat!” Ha! Love it already!
Along with that confirmation, Wentz also made it clear that Elton John would be on the record as well. The band’s frontman Patrick Stump started speculation about the collaboration when he tweeted a photo of the two of them in the studio along with the hashtag “#saverockandroll”.
According to Rolling Stone, these fantastic collaborations aren’t the only ones FOB fans have to look forward to. The band has been working on a remix of “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up) with rapper 2 Chainz, who also appears in the song’s video.
Wentz spoke about their upcoming album’s special guests to Billboard saying, “If people are excited about the 2 Chainz idea, there’s more exciting stuff.”
“More left-field stuff. But to me, it doesn’t feel left-field. We all like different stuff,” added guitarist Joe Trohman.
