Actress Tiffani Thiessen visited a preschool to read the book Otis by Loren Long to help the national non-profit Jumpstart help break the world record for the number of people reading the same book on the same day. This national campaign had the goal of supporting early childhood education and “working towards the day that every child in America enters kindergarten prepared to succeed.” Thiessen held the book Otis as she lit the Empire State Building tower lights “Jumpstart Red” on October 2nd to support the “Read for the Record” campaign.
