“No one tells you what’s going to happen,” Sims says to a group of celebrity moms, including Haylie Duff, Garcelle Beauvais and Soleil Moon Frye, who got together for PEOPLE’s Mom Talk video series, which is now live on PEOPLE/Entertainment Weekly Network.

“With my first pregnancy, I ended up gaining 85 lbs. and had a bad thyroid problem that no one diagnosed throughout the whole pregnancy until four months later,” Sims, who is pregnant with her third child, adds. Sims, 43, who is already mom to Scarlett May, 17 months, and Brooks Alan, 4, says that during her pregnancy she had false hopes that the weight would just fall off after she gave birth.

“Sometimes, deep down, when you’re eating that Sweet Lady Jane on the 405, you think, ‘It’ll come off when I have the baby,’ ” she says.

“There’s also a lot of pressure to bounce back,” Beauvais, 48, adds. “You know who I love is Drew Barrymore! She says, ‘It took me nine months to have ’em, I don’t care how long it takes me to get it off.’ ”

Well surprise surprise. Even though the tabloids would have you believe that Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling’s relationship is in tatters because he’s obviously got eyes for Emma Stone, the truth of the matter seems to be that Ryan and Eva are totally fine. So fine that she’s pregnant again!

Eva Mendes has another bun in the oven! Multiple sources confirm exclusively to Us Weekly that the actress and her longtime boyfriend, Ryan Gosling, are expecting their second child together. According to a source, the mom of daughter Esmeralda, 17 months, was spotted hiding her burgeoning bump during a photo shoot in Los Angeles in February.

In an October 9 interview on the Today Show, Mendes, 41, revealed that she’s taking a break from Hollywood to focus on her family.

“If I’m even like, ‘Oh, what should I wear? Or, should I do this project? All I have to think about is my daughter and her face, and I know the answer immediately,” the Lost River actress said. “She’s my moral compass in a way.”

People Magazine seems to be confirming the news, and the Daily Mail has the photos of Eva “hiding her bump” here. It’s a lot like the Blake Lively thing earlier this week – Eva just looks knocked up even though we can’t really see a bump. What surprises me more than anything is that Eva is 42 years old… officially, although there’s always been gossip about how she’s shaved a few years off. And she seemingly got knocked up without any fertility treatment drama. Granted, we don’t know for sure, but it seems like she just wanted another baby and she got pregnant pretty quickly. Anyway, congrats to Eva and Ryan!

Eva Mendes & Ryan Gosling: Expecting Second Child!

Congratulations are in order for Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling.

The couple are expecting their second child together, according to Us Weekly, which reported that “multiple sources” have confirmed the news.

Thus far, there’s no word on how far along she is in her pregnancy or the sex of the baby.

Mendes has been taking a break from the spotlight, so there’s not even a pic of the bump to comment on.

The genetically blessed couple have been dating since 2011, after they met on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines.

They welcomed their first baby, Esmerelda Amada, in 2014.

During Mendes’ first pregnancy, the pair kept the baby news secret for some time. But the laws of basic biology eventually precluded them from hiding it for too long.

Now that little Esmerelda is here, the couple couldn’t be happier.

“She and Ryan are just in awe of this beautiful person they created,” a source close to Mendes told People. “It’s a really special time for them.”

And while breakup rumors have flitted about as they do with every celebrity couple, Gosling has done nothing but gush over his longtime love.

“I know that I’m with the person I’m supposed to be with,” he told HELLO! last  December.

When asked what he looks for in a mate, he gave a response that left half the female population in a mournful search for Ben & Jerry’s and Xanax.

“That she’s Eva Mendes,” Gosling said. “There’s nothing else I’m looking for.”

And that’s a freaking leading man for you.

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian out and about on Friday in LA. This feels like the first time we’ve seen her in months without a long, butt-covering jacket or coat. That’s probably because she’s now lost so much of the pregnancy weight that she’s not afraid of photographers getting a few butt shots. While I respect her choice to not give the paps butt shots when she’s uncomfortable with her body, she’s got to know that she’s just driving up the price, right? Anyway, as Kim told us last week, she’s lost 42 pounds of the 70-pound weight loss goal she set for herself post-pregnancy. I think she looks good, as-is. Meaning, she looks comfortable at this weight and this is pretty much how she looked when she got pregnant with Saint West. But she still wants to lose more weight, and her nutritionist spoke to Glamour about Kim’s diet:

Kim’s nutritionist, Colette Heimowitz, VP of nutrition and education at Atkins Nutritionals, chatted up Redbook and spilled. Kim, who’s losing about two pounds a week, is sticking to 1,800 calories a day—just right for a breastfeeding mama—says Heimowitz, and she chooses those calories carefully: Every meal includes protein, which she pairs with high-fiber foods (we love barley!) and healthy fats (olive oil, avocados). What she’s not eating: “Sugar, sweets, cakes, crackers, white flour, white rice.”

One thing she’s not giving up? Cheese—just a little bit. Heimowitz told Redbook that Kim’s daily diet breaks down to: “four to six ounces of protein, four ounces of cheese, eight to 10 servings of veggies, and two tablespoons of added fat.” (“Added” fat doesn’t include the fat that’s already in the protein and cheese.) “The secret is [to] pick high-fiber carbohydrates that slow the release of sugar into the bloodstream,” Heimowitz told the mag. “[So] instead of white rice you have a little brown rice. Instead of a white potato you could have a yam. And [when you want] dessert, you can make one with Splenda instead of sugar.”

Atkins diets are always high in protein, as I think everyone knows by now, so it’s not a surprise that Kim includes protein in every meal. I feel like this cheese-specific diet was tailored for her though, which one would expect if one has an on-call nutritionist. Personally, I would rather give up cheese (gladly) for a baked potato every now and then. Besides that, I don’t really believe Kim has given up sugar, sweets, cakes, crackers, white flour and white rice. I think that’s what her nutritionist has told her to give up and Kim sneaks some cracked or a cupcake every so often. Like at a baby shower she hosted for Chrissy Teigen? Apparently, the baby shower food involved McDonalds and nachos.

Ginnifer Goodwin of Once Upon a Time is pregnant with her second baby, with her husband and co-star, Josh Dallas. I would assume that she’s due around May, since the announcement was made last November. Goodwin voices one of the lead characters in the upcoming animated movie, Zootopia. She talked to US Magazine at the premiere about the challenges of being pregnant and raising a two year-old. It sounds like she considers air travel to be difficult, but not because her son is unruly on the plane, but because she feels judged by other passengers:

Once Upon a Time actress Ginnifer Goodwin and her costar husband, Josh Dallas, aren’t exempt from toddler-shaming when they travel with their 20-month-old, Oliver.

“People will look at us and they’ll roll their eyes when we go on an airplane,” the actress told Us Weekly on Wednesday, February 17, at the L.A. premiere of her new animated Disney film, Zootopia. “We’re like, just wait. We’ve got a pretty cool kid.”

[Goodwin] admitted she was thinking of her son while she walked the red carpet with Kristen Bell, Katie Lowes and Shakira. “He’s amazing,” she gushed. “I miss him right this second.”

Goodwin, who is having a baby boy, also said she’s been feeling tired. “Someone just told me that being pregnant is like, you put your body through what it is to run a marathon every day,” she told Us. “That made me feel a little better about being winded while chasing a 2-year-old around!”

“He does at least 50 percent of all the parenting, and I really don’t know how people do it when they don’t have a partner who’s not supportive,” she revealed. “It’s so hard. It’s beautiful. But it’s hard!”

Morena Baccarin is four months pregnant & plans to marry Ben McKenzie

On Friday, we discussed the hot mess that is Morena Baccarin’s romantic life. Morena married Austin Chick (seen in the photo above) a few years ago and they have a 1-year-old son together. Austin filed for divorce in late June, and as we now know, it was because Morena was bangin’ her Gotham costar, Benjamin McKenzie. Not only did Morena cheat on her husband with her costar, she also got pregnant by McKenzie when she was still very much married to Chick. In fact, it’s looking more and more like her pregnancy is one of the big reasons why Chick filed for divorce in the first place. Morena was photographed last week with her bump on full display, and hand to God, she looks about four to five months along. Do that math!

Anyway, the side story to all of this is that Austin Chick and Morena still aren’t divorced and they’ve been fighting over custody of their son. Now that the McKenzie Baby is out of the bag, Chick is using Morena’s affair in the custody dispute:

“Gotham” star Morena Baccarin is rubbing her estranged husband’s nose in her affair with co-star Ben McKenzie, to the point the husband came home and found Ben freshly showered, playing with his son. Baccarin and Austin Chick have been locked in a custody battle over their 1-year-old son. Chick says the boy is in a confusing, unhealthy environment, pointing to an incident in August — 2 months after he filed for divorce — saying he came home to get his stuff and found Ben “had just taken a shower and he was playing with my son.”

Chick says Morena has told him she’s 3 1/2 months pregnant, and he says in the legal docs, “This places the moment of conception right in the first week of June, 2015, the time she was telling me she wanted to work on our marriage and well before we stopped sharing a bed.” In previous legal docs, Morena has claimed they were already talking about separating in March.

Letting your jumpoff shower in your husband’s bathroom? Yikes. I think if Chick really wanted to go to war with Morena, he has more than enough ammo. But for now, the judge says that Morena and Austin will have joint custody, with Morena taking over primary custody of the kid in New York City for now.

Oh, and Morena has now told the court that she’s moving on with her new baby-daddy and they plan to marry. On September 11, Morena informed the court: “Today, I am in a new committed relationship. I am planning to re-marry. Also, I am three-and-a-half months pregnant.” Entertainment Tonight’s sources also say that Morena’s affair with Ben has been going on for a while, and that Ben visited Morena in Vancouver in March-May while she was filming Deadpool. I kind of wonder… do you think Ben is down with Morena telling the court that they will be getting married? It’s moving pretty fast, I’m just saying. So messy.

Justin Timberlake ‘wants to raise Silas out of the spotlight’, in Montana

Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel welcomed their son Silas at some point last week, I think. We never really got a confirmation on when she gave birth. Let’s just say it was last week. Biel went undercover for much of her pregnancy. That surprised me a bit, because I thought she would relish the chance to get pap’d with her bump on the reg. But it might have been by Justin’s command – I can’t imagine that Justin would have been happy if his baby-mama got more attention than he gets, for any reason. Which brings me to this Us Weekly story. Justin and Jessica apparently want to raise Silas away from Hollywood. Like, sources claim that Jessica and Justin are going to raise their son in Montana, where they have a home.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are in seventh heaven with their newborn baby boy. After welcoming son Silas Randall Timberlake earlier this month, the “Not a Bad Thing” singer and the Accidental Love actress are blissfully settling into new parenthood.

“Jessica sees herself as a mom of boys, so it worked out perfectly,” a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly, adding that first-time dad Timberlake, 34, is bursting at the seams with pride. “Justin is so excited, he doesn’t know what to do with himself!”

Home for the couple is their estate in the exclusive Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana.

“Their house is all set up for the baby,” the insider tells Us. “They want to raise him out of the spotlight.”

A second source adds that “Jessica is happiest when she’s in the mountains.” However, Silas will spend at least part of his first months in his Hollywood Hills nursery, as Biel, 33, does business in California.

“Jess is opening her kids’ restaurant, Au Fudge, near L.A. in five months and has tons of meetings,” the pal tells Us.

Fortunately for the new parents, Timberlake’s mom, Lynn Harless, is eager to babysit her grandchild. “Lynn jokes she wants Silas all to herself!” the source says.

Raise your hand if you think Justin and Jessica are really going to be living in Montana for here on out. Yeah, that’s not happening. I’m not saying Jessica isn’t capable of going undercover (she’s proven time and again she’s capable of that), but I think they’ll definitely spend most of their time in LA and NYC. And that’s fine. That’s where both of them do most of their work. They just want to be seen as the kind of people raising their kids away from the spotlight (bullsh-t). Also: “Jessica sees herself as a mom of boys, so it worked out perfectly”???
