Embed from Getty Images At this point, I really don’t know what to even say to the Bernie-or-Bust people other than what Sarah Silverman said: you’re being ridiculous. Bernie-or-Bust delegates and agitators have been causing problems at the DNC every night, whether it was heckling and booing Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker on Day 1, or heckling Leon Panetta on Day 3. Bernie Sanders told his Bernie Bros to work to elect Hillary Clinton and they’re just not listening. Not only are they behaving in such rude and juvenile ways, they’re actually shocked when their behavior has consequences! The Democratic committee pulled a senator who was a Sanders-supporter from speaking at the convention, and now Susan Sarandon and other Bernie-or-Bust people are just so mad. Susan Sarandon and fellow actors gathered outside the Democratic National Convention Wednesday to protest the DNC’s alleged efforts to silence Bernie Sanders supporters. Sarandon, Danny Glover, Shailene Woodley and Rosario Dawson rallied to express their frustration after former Ohio Senator Nina Turner, a strong supporter of Sanders, was denied the chance to be one of his nominators at the last minute, according to the Chicago Tribune. Turner was reportedly dismissed from the convention during the first night after her refusal to endorse Hillary Clinton. She was scheduled to introduce the Vermont senator on Monday evening but was stopped from doing so. “There’s been a lot of difficulty in executing the will of Bernie Sanders’ people and surrogates, and this was just a topping for the whole thing because she was ready to go. And she was very, very disappointed,” Sarandon said. “This has not gone by lightly, and … we are upset.” Turner did make an appearance at the media tent to thank her supporters but did not take the stage. Bernie Sanders has said in no uncertain terms that he’s supporting Hillary Clinton and that he hopes all of his supporters join him in supporting Hillary. It’s the Bernie-or-Bust people who can’t wrap their heads around it. And they can’t wrap their heads around the idea that the DNC might actually change the schedule and “punish” the Bernie-or-Bust people because of their juvenile behavior. Selena Gomez Breaks Down in Concert, on Instagram: I Need to Rethink My Life!

Selena Gomez was on the verge of tears in concert, then broke down on Instagram this weekend, leaving fans worried for the singer. Labeling herself as inauthentic and disconnected (she said “unauthentic” and “unconnected,” but same thing), she’s clearly a hard time. That much is obvious … what we don’t know is what prompted it. The star kicked off the international part of her Revival world tour Saturday night in Jakarta, Indonesia, just one day after turning 24. She appeared to be having a blast with her friends as they all arrived in the country, looking giggly and excited to see everyone on Snapchat. “I’m very, very happy and excited,” she said in one video. The singer also noted that “everybody here is so nice.” Something beneath the facade is amiss though. Just before performing her hit song “Kill ‘Em With Kindness” to end the show, Gomez got emotional as she addressed the raucous crowd:  Selena Gomez Breaks Down in Concert “The next song,” she told the Selenators, “before I go home, is a song that’s so important to me, because I get really frustrated.” “I get stupid sometimes,” the singer said. “I say things that I don’t mean, or that come out wrong, just because I care so badly.” Was this an allusion to how so many people online slammed Gomez for defending Taylor Swift in her ongoing beef with Kimye? Selena quoted from her song as she said, fighting back tears:  “Truth is the last thing we need right now is hate, in any form. But the thing is, at the end of the day, no war in anger was ever won.” It’s not clear where she was going with that, but she went on: “I do know that deep down in my heart, that I have to believe that we can love each other and always be kind, no matter what it takes. “I believe that we can do that, no matter what.” That emotional plea might have been the end of it, but things took a more worrisome turn when Gomez posted a note on Insta later that night: “Tonight I felt extremely unauthentic, unconnected to both myself and my music,” she posted, as you can see from the screen shot above.  “I’ve never really felt like my materials, wardrobe or a video could define me. I act on a moment and fear that something hasn’t happened.” “I’m stagnant, I stay still and don’t just sit with myself first and ask ‘Is this where I am, whole heartedly?’ I’ve always told the truth.” “I’m always true to my word, I’ve shown who I am but I need to rethink some areas of my life creatively and personally.” Selena captioned the image, “not being negative about anything I’ve done. I’m grateful for every single moment I get here.” “Indonesia you were LOUD and clearly inspiring. Love you so much”  Again, we don’t know what prompted any of these surprising revelations, but it’s undeniable that something got in her head.  This would not be the first time Selena’s fragile mental state has been a cause for concern, but it’s worrisome nevertheless. Here’s hoping she finds whatever it is that she’s looking for.

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian in Vegas on Friday night. She attended/hosted a party at Hakkasan at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. Kim is one of the most expensive “gets” for Vegas nightclubs. If they want to go cheap, they get Scott Disick, you know? I suspect that Kim gets mid-six figures plus crazy accommodations per Vegas appearance. Kim wore vintage Galliano to the event, which… the seams seem off? And those shoes were not the best choice. But Kim looked small, and she was definitely showing off her achievement of her “goal weight,” which was to lose 70 pounds post-pregnancy. I think that puts her in the 120-130 lb range, according to Kim. It’s always so difficult to assess Kim’s weight because she’s so curvy with those boobs and that butt, but Kim really is very short and compact. Post-receipts, Kim has returned to business as usual. It’s an interesting move, isn’t it? She’s chosen not to harp on and on about it. She’s chosen not to emphasize, on social media or in interviews, her exposure and takedown of Taylor Swift. Kim fundamentally changed the gossip landscape and she isn’t even really taking a victory lap. I suspect that there will be discussions in future interviews, and I suspect that Kim is waiting patiently to see what Taylor does next. We’ll see. Meanwhile, Kim has been talking to the press, just not about Tay-Tay. She’s been talking about her weight, and she’s been talking about her babies. Kim Kardashian says her and Kanye West’s second child, son Saint West, is a “Daddy’s boy.” In fact, the baby told her so himself, so to speak. “He said Dada today, three times!” Kim told E! News exclusively at the MGM Grand nightclub Hakkasan in Las Vegas Friday night. “And I was like, ‘Wait what?’ Kanye was so excited, he was like, ‘I told him to say that.’ And I was like, just I really wanted him to say ‘Mama’ first.” And the couple’s first and eldest child, daughter North West, is the opposite of her brother. “I have to go back and see what North said first but I think he’s, like, you know, a Daddy’s boy and North is a Mama’s girl, so we each have one,” Kim told E! News. [From E! News] I always suspected North was a daddy’s girl, actually. North seems completely attached to both parents, but maybe she’s just more like her mom. As for Saint saying “Dada” – the baby is only seven months old! Is he really saying “Dada” or is he just making sounds? Lamar Odom: Intervention Staged By Family! NBA Star Peaces Out in a Hurry!

Desperate to help any way that they can, Lamar Odom’s family staged an intervention in New York City Friday night, according to reports. Suffice it to say, this did not go over well. In response to the former NBA star’s recent troubling behavior, his family decided to step in and try to get him the help he badly needs. A source quoted by Us Weekly confirms that the mediation took place on Friday night with several of Odom’s close family members. Lamar’s longtime partner Liza Morales, the two children she has with Lamar, his aunt JaNean Mercer, and several cousins were involved. Good for them for stepping up, but … it didn’t take. “Lamar was doing really bad and his family was going to stage an intervention on Friday,” the insider tells the celebrity news magazine. According to a separate report from Extra, the retired L.A. Lakers baller “was extremely surprised” by this and quickly “left the location.” Lamar Odom Learns to Walk Sad, since an intervention is desperately needed. Last fall, Odom overdosed and almost died in a Nevada brothel. He was in such rough shape that had to re-learn how to walk and speak (above). You’d think that would straighten him out. No. A drunk Odom was kicked off a flight from LAX to NYC earlier this month after he reportedly got so hammered that he vomited on the plane. Witnesses say the 36-year-old stopped at a bar in Santa Monica prior to heading to LAX, where he “got really angry and started getting drunk.” “It’s really sad,” the insider said, watching Odom spiral out of control and further into the abyss. “He was doing so well in his [rehab] programs.”  He was? Khloe recently filed to divorce Lamar a second time. Shortly after the plane incident, her mom Kris Jenner said she was surprised by the news. “I don’t know what happened. It was a big surprise to me,” Jenner said. “All I can say is I want the very best for him. He’s like my son.” “He’s a part of my family and I adore him. He’s the greatest guy in the world and anybody that knows him will tell you the same thing.”  Odom has recently been spotted at numerous NYC strip clubs, having been kicked out of Khloe’s rental house, allegedly for drug use. What more is there to say at this point? Unless someone can get through to him, it feels inevitable that the same, sad pattern will continue. Embed from Getty Images It’s really cute the way Kimye and Taylor Swift thought they were bringing the drama this week when all of the real insanity has been going down at the Republican National Convention. By all accounts, this year’s RNC has been a complete mess. Few of the big names in the GOP have come to Cleveland, the message keeps getting hijacked because everything is in shambles and the ratings are terrible. And last night’s prime-time line-up was particularly unhinged. Marco Rubio didn’t even come to Cleveland – he just sent a video, which is just what you’d expect from the least-working member of the Senate. The night should have been all about Mike Pence accepting the nomination for vice president, but they made the mistake of putting alleged Zodiac Killer Ted Cruz on around 10 pm, and of course it ended badly. The problem was that Ted Cruz, Donald Trump’s biggest challenger, got a major speaking slot, and Cruz still refused to endorse Trump. Canadian tennis pro Eugenie “Genie” Bouchard is seen by many as one of the future stars of the game. She’s got “the look” of a tennis star – she’s blonde, adorable and bouncy, and she gives off a puppy-ish energy that is definitely endearing. She’s currently ranked 40th in the world, but many expect her to really step up to the plate in the coming years. And like so many youngsters (Genie is just 22 years old), she’s very in tune to pop culture. I mean, so is Serena Williams, but Genie is still so young, she’ll talk on the record about celebrity gossip in the middle of her press conferences. Case in point: Genie was playing the Citi Open this week in DC, and at her press conference on Wednesday, she was asked about the ongoing Kimye-Taylor Swift controversy. Genie has previously professed her love of all things Taylor Swift, and has even met Swift backstage at one of Swift’s concerts last year. But Genie is tired of Swifty’s perpetual-victim shtick. Oh, Genie! I heart you. Start around the 5:55-minute mark. A tennis star with a HUGE backhand directed at Taylor Swift — says she’s sick of the singer always portraying herself as the victim … just like she’s doing in the Kanye West feud. The tennis star is 22-year-old Eugenie Bouchard — who’s a huge pop culture fan — and was asked about the Taylor vs. Kanye situation after she was knocked out of the Citi Open this week. “This is probably the hardest question all day,” she said. “I love Taylor Swift and I went to her concert and I love her songs and everything, but I feel like sometimes she portrays herself as the victim a lot and she did this time around, and that she said she wasn’t aware of that specific line.
