The full story from Huffington Post: [A fan] drawing of Lovato topless with a mermaid tail caught the singer’s attention, and not in the good way. “Is that how my boobs should look?” she commented on a fan’s Instagram that reposted the photo this week. “It’s gorgeous but that’s not my body.” The drawing is inspired by a sultry promotional shot from her new single “Body Say,” which shows Lovato nude, but sans mermaid tail, in the same position. Unlike the fan artwork, however, bed sheets largely cover her bust and waist. Vladimir Serbanescu, the Romanian artist responsible for the image, quickly defended his artwork on Instagram and responded to Lovato’s accusation that he misrepresented her body. “If i make your waist slimmer and your boobs bigger to accentuate the fact that i drew you as a mermaid, a mythological creature, doesn’t mean I say that you should look like that or all girls should look like that,” he wrote. “That’s how i imagine mermaids. The full story from Rogue Magazine: “Ariel Winter is best known for her role as Alex Dunphy in the hit comedy series Modern Family, has grown up before our eyes, officially ringing in adulthood while celebrating her 18th birthday this past January. At this stage, you get sort of jaded after a certain period I feel like I’ve been in the industry for so long that I have gotten to that point where people’s comments and the exposure doesn’t bother me as much,” she admits. “I mean it still bothers people when you get negative feedback for something, but it doesn’t hit me as hard as it would somebody just entering the industry.” Multiple articles abound questioning her choice of photos on Instagram and berating her for flaunting her sexuality at such a tender age. “It’s called being a woman in the industry,” she says. “It’s complete sexism.” Winter says that plenty of men in the “industry” would never receive the same criticism if they posted similar photos. Sims, 43, who is already mom to Scarlett May, 17 months, and Brooks Alan, 4, says that during her pregnancy she had false hopes that the weight would just fall off after she gave birth. “Sometimes, deep down, when you’re eating that Sweet Lady Jane on the 405, you think, ‘It’ll come off when I have the baby,’ ” she says. “There’s also a lot of pressure to bounce back,” Beauvais, 48, adds. “You know who I love is Drew Barrymore!
