Selma Blair mixed prescription pills with wine, had a crazy meltdown on a plane

We're leaving on a jet plane. Dad is already asleep. Not for long. Bwahahahha . #fathersdayweekend A photo posted by Selma Blair (@therealselmablair) on Jun 16, 2016 at 1:46pm PDT To celebrate Father’s Day, Selma Blair and her ex-partner Jason Bleick went down to Cancun, Mexico with their son Arthur Saint, who is 4 years old. Judging from the above Instagram, Selma, Arthur and Jason took a long weekend – they were in Cancun last Thursday through Monday. On Monday, Selma and Arthur boarded a plane back to LA. And that’s when everything went haywire. According to witnesses, Selma mixed some medication with wine on the flight, and she began behaving bizarrely. Selma Blair was taken off a Delta flight Monday on a stretcher after losing control … TMZ has learned. Witnesses on a flight from Cancun, Mexico to LAX tell us, Blair was in first class and drinking wine. The witnesses say it appeared she put something in the glass and mixed it in. We’re told she suddenly started crying, “He burns my private parts. He won’t let me eat or drink.” The witnesses say she continued, “He beats me. He’s going to kill me.” We’re told 2 nurses on board came over to help and checked her bags for pills. Our sources say the pilot radioed ahead and told the tower there was a passenger on board who had been mixing alcohol and meds. When the plane landed medical personal boarded the plane and took Blair off on a stretcher. She was taken to a nearby hospital. [From TMZ] My first instinct when reading Selma’s words was… I bet it’s nothing. Not because I want to shrug off those horrific words, it’s just that we’ve all said some crazy sh-t while drunk and/or high. She probably didn’t even know what she was saying, if the medications she mixed with wine were strong enough. People Magazine had more details about this whole incident and beyond too – their sources claim Selma was “happy and healthy” the entire time she was in Cancun, and she got spa treatments while her ex spent time with their son. An official (with the airline, perhaps) confirms that Selma had “taken a combination of prescription medication with alcohol,” but that it was unclear “what sort of prescription medications.” The worst part? Arthur Saint was traveling with his mom! Ugh. This is a bad situation. Also: reportedly, Selma went into rehab back in 2007, although she never discussed it publicly so who knows? As for Selma being “happy and healthy” during the Cancun trip, the Daily Mail published photos of her where she looks like she’s taken #AllThePills. The Real Housewives of Orange County Recap: Yachts of Fun

The O.G. of the O.C. is back! But did Vicki Gunvalson manage to win the ladies back after all the insane drama she put them through? That was her plan on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11 Episode 1, but it may prove easier said than done for Vick … Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11 Episode 1 Online Gunvalson, ostracized for Brooks Ayers faking cancer last season, was on the outs and looking to get back to being the ultimate insider. First, though, The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11 Episode 1 brought us up to date on what the other wives are doing. In Tamra Barney’s case, that would be Eddie Judge. A lot. “I scream, ‘Oh, God!’ at least 20 times!” she claimed. So her sex life is going well. Meghan King Edmonds, meanwhile, was looking to get her baby-making on with Jim … IVF style. Not as hot. You do what you gotta do though, are we right? New Housewife Kelly Dodd has also been through IVF, just like Meghan’s mom and Heather had been, so she has that support system. Shannon Beador was excited to tell viewers that since David Beador’s affair was discovered, they worked things out and are doing great! Now for the elephant in the lavishly-decorated room … Heather Dubrow was throwing a party and debating whether to invite Vicki, who wants to move on and be part of her friends’ lives again. She swore she hadn’t suspected Brooks was lying, and Heather finally invited her; Vicki brought former co-star Jeana Keough as backup. “I definitely know Jeana will have my back,” she said. The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11 Trailer Jenna yes. Everyone else was a question mark. At the party, Tamra and Kelly got along great, and Kelly seemed happy to see Vicki … because they share an aesthetician. Good times. Talking to Meghan, Kelly responded that she “seems like a lovely lady.” Meghan wasn’t having it, telling her friend to keep her guard up. “‘Seems’ is the key word here. Be careful.” Heather then revealed, during a toast, that Terry had endured a health scare which made them take stock of what really matters in life. That means inviting everyone they love to celebrate living … even Vicki? That was the implication, but the two had yet to discuss things. Finally, Gunvalson told Dubrow that she wanted forgiveness for last year, though she still refuses to admit she knew Brooks was lying at all. Time will tell how long they drag THIS out. What did you think of the premiere? To see it in full, follow the links above to watch The Real Housewives of Orange County online.

David Duchovy on The X-Files: it’s romantic when a man & woman are equals

Ok folks I know #davidduchovny and #gilliananderson have a few fans out there so I'm going to do a little competion . Best caption for this picture gets a 11 by 14 limited edition print signed by me.. #xfiles ps photographed with @leicacamerausa A photo posted by Mark Mann (@markmannphoto) on Jun 11, 2016 at 5:45am PDT David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson have an long enjoyable joint interview over on Deadline. This is in the Awardsline section, so it must be part of the Emmy push for the X-Files reboot. Apparently the first round of voting closes June 27th, so please if we have any Emmy voters reading consider the new X-Files (and also Master of None and Bates Motel) on your ballots. Ever since I heard David Duchovny promoting his new book on Fresh Air I’ve had a renewed appreciation of just how smart and insightful he is. He has a masters in English literature from Yale and his undergraduate degree is from Princeton. I’ve always found Gillian Anderson a joy to listen to as well, so it’s a treat for me to have this interview to report. The problem is that they both say so many interesting things that I don’t know what to cut. Reading the interview is like having a great meal. If you’re an X-Files fan like me I would recommend that you read the interview at the source, but here are my favorite parts. The good news is that the show is such a hit and that they’ve both expressed an interest in returning, so we’ll probably get more X-Files at some point. Anderson says that no one is is talks yet, though. The second movie was a problem for them as they wanted to do three Duchovny: But after the second movie opened against The Dark Knight, and it was kind of a doomed enterprise in that way, I think we assumed it was dead. As television rearranged itself over the last 10 years, the idea of a season changed from 24 episodes, to 6, 8, 10, 12, or whatever. It became apparent that we could exist there, at least temporarily. Anderson: In my head, at least, was the fantasy of maybe doing three movies. I don’t know where that came from, but it was a shame the second was handled in the way it was. We knew we wanted to continue the conversation and try and trump that experience. They both say that a shorter series arc allowed the show to come back Duchovny:As television rearranged itself over the last 10 years, the idea of a season changed from 24 episodes, to 6, 8, 10, 12, or whatever. It became apparent that we could exist there, at least temporarily. Anderson: But the idea of doing a small pack, and realizing that our series works best when we have an opportunity to show all the elements of it, which you can’t fit into a single feature, suddenly it could be allowed to be all those things it is at its very best. On their gag on Kimmel about how technology has changed, and how that affects the show Duchovny: I honestly think the writers’ time is best spent not even concerning itself with the kind of questions about how the show exists now, because I feel like every 10 years or so people like to run around proclaiming that the world has changed and technology has changed us. And the fact is: we’re still humans. Our human nature is exactly the same as it was 500 years ago, let alone five years ago. And that’s really what the show concerns itself with; human nature, and possibility and the freedom to wonder and wander. On their chemistry on screen Duchovny: What exists in the writing, as well, is that these two people are true partners and they complete one another intellectually and emotionally. I do think that’s very romantic, when you have a man and a woman treating each other as equals. And not just as equals, but as necessary components of one another. Without the other, they fall as people, as entities, as investigators. It’s highly romantic and yet not sexual, though there’s a lot of tension. Anderson: They have a clear depth of caring about one another, and that’s what really gets people. They care about one another’s welfare, and so even if they’re at odds in their beliefs, their caring transcends that, through all nine seasons. On how they had chemistry when they first met Anderson: We didn’t know each other at all, but for some reason there was something in the room between the two of us that wasn’t there with others. To a degree, you can manufacture that as actors, and you have to most of the time, but for some reason there was something tangible and palpable that existed between us, right then. On if we’ll get more X-Files Anderson: I’m open to the conversation, though they haven’t come to us yet. I have no clue when they’re going to. I’m getting on with the rest of my life and I’m booking other jobs, so if it is indeed something that they would like to continue, then that conversation will need to be had. And I have no idea when that will be able to take place at this juncture. [From Deadline] I love how Anderson is very blunt and matter-of-fact about her busy schedule and the fact that she’s not waiting around for producers to come to her about doing more shows. She’s putting producers on notice, which she did before by revealing that she was initially offered half of what Duchovny was for the reboot. You know he’s the one who told her that, and that he has her back. Their rapport has always been palpable, which is so much of why the show works. I do think they had something more happening recently but so many of you have told me that’s wishful thinking on my part. As for Duchovny’s thoughts on how technology should be written into the show in the future, I disagree that it shouldn’t be a consideration. The tech-heavy episodes in the original series were some of my favorites and I absolutely loved The Lone Gunmen. photos credit: WENN and FameFlynet. Header image from Mark Mann for Awardsline

The Rock eats candy for the first time in 27 years on The Tonight Show

As a person who thinks candy is a food group, this story is inconceivable to me. While promoting Central Intelligence on The Tonight show with Jimmy Fallon, Dwayne Johnson confirmed that he has not eaten candy in 27 years. After admitting he still loves his cheat days, DJ explained that candy just isn’t his thing and the last piece he had was a Twizzler while watching a movie in 1989. So Jimmy produced an assortment of treats to coax DJ to indulge after two + decades on national television. As always, DJ was happy to oblige. Dwayne Johnson shared a very interesting fact about himself with Jimmy Fallon during a recent appearance on the Tonight Show. The Central Intelligence star, who is known for sticking to a strict diet and workout regimen in order to maintain his impressive physique, admitted that he had not eaten candy since 1989. That’s right! Apparently, the professional wrestler-turned-actor managed to stay away from eating candy for nearly 27 years. When he opened up about the candy-eating hiatus to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Dwayne made it very clear that his decision did not necessarily deal with the boundaries of his strict diet. As many of The Rock’s fans and followers already know, Dwayne is a huge fan of embracing the infamous “Cheat Day” whenever the seemingly rare opportunity to do so presents itself. “I’m just not a big ‘candy guy.’ You know, I love cheat meals. Right? I love that, but I’m just not like… a candy thing.” “It’s crazy how I remember this kind of stuff, right? It’s like ‘Rain Main.’ Twizzlers is the last [candy] I had and we were at a movie theater watching a movie.” Even though Dwayne did not remember the movie that he was watching while eating the Twizzler, it’s still somewhat impressive that he was able to identify the specific type of candy that was consumed. Jimmy Fallon was eager to try and “make a little history” by tempting Dwayne Johnson to eat candy during his Tonight Show appearance – bringing his 27-year hiatus to an end. Instead of eating the entire pack of Twizzlers – or even attempting to take a bite out of the giant gummy worm – Jimmy Fallon decided to feed Dwayne the pop rocks instead. [From Inquisitr] There are a dozen other candies I would have gone with before Pop Rocks but I guess there is some poetry to The Rock ending his candy-fast with Pop Rocks. BTW – Hecate ParenTip: Pop Rocks will entertain your children for hours on a long car ride. They will bounce of the walls when you arrive at your destination but at least your drive will be smooth. The whole segment is worth it just to see DJ seductively swing the giant gummy worm Jimmy had on hand to tempt him. The Rock and Giant Gummy Worm should become a meme. Speaking of memes, Jimmy and DJ did a high school prom skit, in which they morphed into the Ermahgerd character. The skit’s okay but they look fantastic. In case you haven’t seen it already, the Moana teaser trailer, in which Dj voices Maui, dropped last week. Below is the clip of DJ and the Pop Rocks. Like DJ said, he still loves his cheat days. His cheat day meals and puppy pics are just two more great reasons to follow him on Instagram. Rick Astley never gave us up – and tops the British charts once again

In “What year is this?” news, Rick Astley has a number one album – in his home country of England. The singer, now 50, just hit the charts with his comeback album, titled 50. Well, naming your album after your current age worked for Adele. Apparently, this tactic also proved successful for Rick. You young whippersnappers may only know Rick from the internet phenomenon known as “Rickrolling,” where pranksters would tempt you to click a link only to be taken to a video for Rick’s 1987 hit “Never Gonna Give You Up” (still a damn catchy tune if you ask me). The prank garnered Rick over 70 million views of the song’s video on YouTube and led to a surprise appearance at the 2008 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. England’s Telegraph complied some fun facts about Rick that are worth a read. He was kind of a big deal. The singer retired in 1993 to raise his daughter and now, 23 years later, Rick is back with a vengeance. The new album beat out Paul McCartney and popular British singer Tom Odell to take the top spot. The first single off of the album, “Keep Singing”, shows off Rick’s still soulful pipes, and the singer still has the youthful looks he rocked back in the 80s. Yes, I admit, I fangirled out a little when I saw this video. He’s still a cutie. Rick, who thought the whole Rickrolling thing was “hilarious” is slightly surprised about the success of his comeback album. He recently told the Daily Mail, “It’s all a bit bonkers. I am not allowing myself to believe that it is all happening. This time last year, I would have laughed at the thought of being number one again. And I almost didn’t care whether it hit the top or not. Because it is just fantastic to be here.” Sadly, we US Rick fans will have to wait until October 7th to download the album, which is available for pre-order on iTunes. I think it’s awesome that Rick is back. I always thought he was a great singer. I do like “You Move Me” better than “Give You Up,” but he was part of the soundtrack of my college years and I’m glad to see him again. With 80s classics like Ghostbusters coming back to the big screen – along with rumored remakes of Overboard, War Games and Police Academy, it’s kind of inevitable that we’re ready to welcome some of the decade’s more memorable voices back to the airwaves (or streaming services – I’m not that old). Tom Hiddleston poses shirtless, in boxers for W Mag: thirsty or sexy?

You know it’s a good day when you can snort-giggle your way through a never-before-seen W Magazine editorial and say to yourself, “OMG WHY DID YOU AGREE TO THIS?” Tom Hiddleston *might* need to fire his publicist, his manager, and anyone else who gave the go-ahead for these photos – go here to see W Magazine’s NSFW, glorious Hiddlesdong editorial. The photos were taken back when Tom was in LA, although I don’t know if these are from his last visit a few weeks ago or from a few months ago. I do know that I cringed. It’s one thing to do a shirtless photoshoot for an artsy magazine. It’s quite another to strip down to your tight, white boxers and let everyone see the specifics of your bulge. I mean… Tom. Please. Don’t do this. I know it’s too late, but this was a trap and you fell into it, dong first. (And now I’m making myself laugh to the point where I can barely type.) Even more hilarious? W Magazine posted these photos with an article called “Everything You Need to Know About Tom Hiddleston, Taylor Swift Boyfriend.” Obvious PR is Obvious. Even though I think Tom seemed a bit surly and overwhelmed, maybe he’s not. Maybe this is exactly what he wanted. He does tell W Magazine: “I’d make a terrible spy, because everybody knows who I am.” O RLY? A lot of people knew Tom Hiddleston, but now that he’s with Taylor Swift, everybody will know his name. And maybe that was his goal in the first place. But the thing about it is… he just seems super-thirsty. Like, “please, look at me, I’ll wear white boxers and everything!!” Photos courtesy of Mona Kuhn/W Magazine.

Scott Disick Calls Out Kourtney Kardashian on Justin Bieber Fling!

It's been a few months since the rumor mill began churning out notions that Kourtney Kardashian and Justin Bieber were hooking up, but for the most part, that scuttlebutt has since died all the way down. While Kourtney denied the rumors and Justin played coy, the reality star's ex Scott Disick now has something to say about it. In the preview clip below for Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the family plays a few rounds of Cards Against Humanity during a ski vacation in Vail, Colorado. It's Kourt's turn, and she pulls a card that reads, "Why am I sticky?" According to the rules of the game, each player must submit a card from their hand with the funniest – or most appropriate – answer to the question. The submissions included some real zingers, and Kourtney reads them aloud. "A Fleshlight," she reads from the first card. "Your weird brother," reveals a second response. But we think Scott's contribution kinda took the cake. "Justin Bieber," Kourtney reads, to which Kendall releases a toe-curling noise we never knew she was capable of. "I put that one," Scott finally admitted. Oh, SNAP. Kourtney remains pretty cool and collected throughout, as she has during the entire Biebergate phase. But we think the best reaction may have come from Khloe: When reports of Kourtney and Justin's "arrangement" first surfaced, Scott was reportedly super pissed. But it seems now he has a sense of humor about it – and why wouldn't he? It's one of the few things that's keeping him relevant these days.
