People: Ben Affleck wants Jennifer Garner back, but she’s not ready

We just saw photos and video of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck with their kids in Paris, near where Ben is filming (and now executive producing) Justice League. They’re now in London I believe. Instead of leaving us to draw our own conclusions about the state of their relationship and whether they’re back together or just trying to show a united front for their kids, Jen’s pr team is spelling it out: he wants her back and she’s supposedly reticent. Yeah right. Nearly a year after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their split, the two have continued to maintain a close relationship: living together, going on weekend outings with their kids and even vacationing as a family – including a trip to Paris last week. Is a reconciliation in their future? “Ben wants Jen back,” a source close to Garner tells PEOPLE in this week’s issue, with a second source adding, “Ben wants to get back together. He wants her back.” But while the two have yet to file for divorce and have remained friendly, the source close to Garner says they haven’t rekindled their romance. “Jen is not ready to take Ben back,” says the source. “Ben has never been good alone and isn’t now either. But he is constantly working on himself. He has made big changes.” [From People] This story is from Garner, obviously, and it’s even sourced to her. She’s claiming that he’s changed and she’s preparing to announce that they’re back together. It’s all very predictable, as is her status as a doormat. Maybe that’s unfair to her, a lot of women take their husbands back after various Beckys, but Ben cheated with their damn nanny! Even if they were separated at the time, that’s the lowest. I do think the fame-hungry nanny forced Garner’s hand by going public and that Garner’s type A personality made her try to control the narrative through every up and down in their relationship. That’s still playing out, and it seems she hasn’t realized when to just keep things to herself. We didn’t need to know this. She could have just taken him back and then given an interview sometime in the fall confirming it. By that time they’ll probably be separated again anyway. Gwyneth Paltrow has been talking about sex a lot lately. Maybe it’s part of her new branding scheme: The Sexual, Sensual Goop In Her 40s. Maybe it’s a late reaction to her divorce. Maybe Brad Falchuk is giving it to her properly. Or maybe it’s a combination of all of the above. In any case, Gwyneth is not content to merely say (odd) words about sex in interviews. This week’s Goop-letter is the first-ever “Sex Issue.” Sex, Goop Style. The Low-Down on Goop’s Downtown. Becky with the Bad Straw Hair has sex. And she wants you to know about it. You can see the whole Goop site here. The Sex Issue features an article about an “erotic theater” in LA, because rich people can’t just watch p0rn in the comfort of their own homes anymore. There’s an article about “hormone free” technology to improving your sex life. There’s a Goopy article about whether or not your lube is toxic, and whether you should make your own lube at home. There’s an informative and interesting piece about sexual trauma and psychological scarring, and how that affects one’s sex life. But the piece that is getting the most attention is the Goop Sex Toy Guide. Because it wouldn’t be Goop if Gwyneth wasn’t recommending that you spend thousands of dollars on seasonal, artisanal vibrators. I’ll give Goop some credit – there are some affordable recommendations on her list, like a $69 feather toy, Ben Wa balls that only cost $25 and $10 “cleaning spray,” because nothing says romance like Windexing your beav. But because she’s Gwyneth, she has to remind you that only 24-carat gold touches her ‘gina: she is literally recommending a $15,000 24-carat gold dildo. There’s also a $535 whip, a $400 nipple-clamp necklace, and a $156 G-spot App. Yes, there’s an app for that. If you’re a peasant and can’t afford a gold dildo. Here are some photos of Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska at last night’s London premiere of Alice Through the Looking Glass, the sequel to the wildly popular Alice in Wonderland adaptation by Tim Burton. Depp returns as the Mad Hatter, Mia returns as Alice, and Sacha Baron Cohen (also pictured) stars as Time. This film also features Alan Rickman’s last voice performance as the Blue Caterpillar. Personally, I’m a little bit surprised that Amber Heard didn’t join her husband at this premiere – Amber loves a red carpet, and she loves the attention she gets from being on Johnny’s arm. I guess she’s working on Aquaman (she plays Aquaman’s wife) and maybe she couldn’t get away? Perhaps. Or maybe she didn’t want to prop up a totally sauced Johnny Depp one more time. Although I will say that Depp doesn’t look completely sh-t faced in these photos. I’d say he had a buzz, but wasn’t fall-down drunk. Speaking of Johnny slurring his words uncomfortably, most of you have already seen this video, but it’s worth posting. Following Depp and Heard’s hilariously awkward video apology in Australia, Johnny declared this week that wherever he goes now, he’s going to awkwardly apologize. How drunk does he seem in this video? More photos… allegedly, Mia is wearing Prada. Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna got engaged back in April. At the time, it seemed like a sudden move. And while I would never dare suggest that this is just a reality-show version of a shotgun marriage, that’s exactly what it looks like. On Friday, Blac Chyna and Rob confirmed that they are expecting their first child together. The baby will be Rob’s first overall, and Chyna’s second – she’s also mom to son King Cairo, whose father is Tyga (Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend). Chyna’s rep confirmed the pregnancy far and wide, telling media outlets: “I can confirm she’s pregnant and of course she’s happy.” But of course there’s already drama. People Magazine also noted in a later post that Chyna and Rob were not expecting to announce the news on Friday – they wanted to do it today, Sunday, for Mother’s Day. Chyna’s rep once again went to People and said: “She would have preferred to have announced it on Mother’s Day herself, but her hand was forced.” Who was “forcing” her hand? The Kardashian clan. Apparently, someone (or multiple someones) leaked the pregnancy info to media outlets on Friday, just to get at Chyna… maybe. I find it interesting that her rep is going on the record to People Mag just to stir the sh-t. As it turns out, Chyna has been a Kardashian all along, you know? She fits right in with the K-klan. People Mag also ran several positive, exclusive stories about the pregnancy and how Rob is elated about becoming a father, especially considering he lost his own father at such a young age. There’s also some insidery info about how the Kardashian-Jenner clan reacted to the news – go here to read. Apparently, Kris Jenner is not thrilled, and the Kardashian sisters are just sort of shell-shocked. Sources also say that Kim is already coming around, basically because she doesn’t see the point in starting a war with Rob and Chyna. Interestingly enough, in this week’s Life & Style, sources note that Rob is getting a bigger paycheck for Keeping Up with the Kardashians this season. For several seasons now, Rob has been in the wind, barely making appearances and not really engaging with the various storylines of the show. But if you’ve been watching this new season (currently airing), you might have noticed that Rob’s storyline is really dominating the show. So let me ask you… was that the plan all along? ???? Prince Harry is having the time of his life in Florida for the Invictus Games

The Invictus Games officially begin today, but Prince Harry (King Dirty Ginger Snap) has already been in Florida for days. On Friday and Saturday, Harry was participating in the welcoming events, holding babies, kissing puppies, shaking hands with veterans and generally being lovely and adorable. Interestingly enough, I think Poor Jason (the PR guy for the Cambridges and Harry) is with Harry in Florida. Just before Jason released a slew of lovely Harry photos, the KensingtonRoyal Twitter released some information about upcoming events involving Prince William. Because of course Harry can’t just have a moment. Speaking of Harry’s moment, I loved this story from People Magazine: Over breakfast at the Warrior Games in Colorado in 2013, Prince Harry turned to friend David Wiseman and said: “We’re going to bring this idea back to the U.K. and make it massive.” Now, two years on from the first Paralympic-style Invictus Games in London, the excitement is building for second event, which will kick off in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday. “It’s going to be such a fantastic atmosphere which the athletes will draw from,” U.K team captain Wiseman says. While Harry’s hopes for the UK version were big “if he had said there would be the First Lady and former President Bush at a games in Orlando a few years later I would have said ‘wow,’ ” Wiseman adds. “The world is watching this and hopefully lots of people can drawn inspiration from the amazing men and women competing in sport here. There’s going to be a lot of razzmataz.” Wiseman, who qualified for four swimming races in preliminary races on Saturday, was speaking to reporters after Harry had visited the swimming pool. “He has been knocking around for the last couple of days. He has a good, natural affinity with the veterans and service personnel. He belongs to that community and he can just rock up and whoever you are can stand here having a chat with the competitors. It’s natural, it’s genuine.” [From People] What I enjoy is that Harry always gives credit where it’s due: the American Warrior Games were his inspiration, and he wanted to make it bigger and more inclusive to veterans around the world. Another day, another story about how LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are close to broke-ass-broke. Star Magazine decide to run yet another piece about how Eddie is a terrible golddigger who will eventually dump LeAnn because she can’t afford to keep him in the lap of luxury for much longer. Star references their previous reporting on the alleged $350,000 LeAnn and Eddie borrowed from Dave and Lizzie Fradin, their couple-BFFs. The Fradins are their constant vacation-companions, and just judging solely from the photos that LeAnn posts on her social media, I’ve always thought that Lizzie and Eddie probably have something going on the side. I’m just saying, she looks like his type. Anyway, here are some highlights from Star’s current LeAnn-and-Eddie story: Dave & Lizzie Fradin are their constant companions. LeAnn and Eddie brought the Fradins along to Cabo for their anniversary trip, and Eddie spent most of the trip bonding with Dave. The money is running out. According to Star, they’re living on the equity pulled from their $3 million Hidden Hills home, but they had to borrow $350,000 from the Fradins as a down payment, then took out a $2.1 million loan. Eddie is a golddigger. An insider says: “Eddie married a mega-rich woman but now, with LeAnn’s career in crisis, they’re living on loans and struggling to make ends meet. It’s only a matter of time before the money runs out and they can’t borrow any more. When that happens, Edie won’t be sticking around… bottom line, Eddie is a complete golddigger. Deep down LeAnn knows he’ll leave her if she can’t regain her fame and fortune. If she can’t keep the gravy train going, her marriage is over.” LeAnn keeps alienating fans & friends. She was rude to Bill Mack, and she’s constantly skipping shows and forgetting her lyrics. An insider says: “LeAnn badly needs a hit, but what does she do? Makes enemies in the business.” LeAnn doesn’t want Eddie to work. Because of the constant rumors of Eddie’s wandering eye, the insider says: “LeAnn’s incredibly insecure and she’s glad Eddie isn’t working, because she fears he’ll sleep with any cute actress in his line of vision.” LeAnn was trying to make Eddie jealous. During the Cabo trip, LeAnn tried to chat up various men, just to get Eddie’s attention. He wasn’t biting. The insider says: “Eddie doesn’t care who she flirts with, he has no passion for her anymore. I believe that LeAnn doesn’t want Eddie to work because she KNOWS he will bang anything with a pulse. Here are some photos of Tom Hiddleston outside of BBC Radio 2 today, Friday. I don’t know why he was carrying his guitar, but God bless. He’s that guy, maybe. The one who likes to bring his guitar everywhere just to serenade the ladies. At Radio 2, Tom ran into the Duchess of Cornwall and he put his arm around her while they were posing for photos – that’s a breach of protocol, but Camilla didn’t mind. Tom arrived back in London a few days ago, judging from his Twitter, and he’s really happy to be back after four months of non-stop travel. So, let’s take a moment and honor what is the end of Tom Hiddleston’s crazy American tour. He was in the US for the better part of two months, promoting back-to-back film and TV projects, a tour which culminated with a slew of appearances just in the past week, from his trip to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner to his first-ever appearance at the Met Gala and the release of his charming Esquire UK cover interview too. Before he left America, Tom did chat with the Press Association about how he ended up dancing the night away with Taylor Swift at the Met Gala. The videos of Taylor and Tom’s dancing went viral following the gala, and everyone wants to know how it came about. Tom explained: “I love dancing, who doesn’t?” Hiddleston told the Press Association in a recent interview. “It’s a weird one (that it went viral). I haven’t actually danced for a long time, but I happened to be dancing at the Met Gala, because it was a party. I was on a table with Taylor Swift and The Weeknd was playing and she said, ‘The thing about these parties is nobody gets up to dance,’” he continued. “She, as a musician, was like, ‘We’ve got to dance for The Weeknd!’ so we got up and danced.” [From ET] So, Taylor was the one whispering, “I wish someone would dance…” and Tom, ever the gentleman, was like, “Sure, let’s do it!” And he threw himself into with abandon.
