Farrah Abraham Creates New Name for Fans, Despite Not Having Any

These days, it’s not uncommon for celebrities to come up with a collective name for their fans. For example, Lady Gaga has her “Little Monsters” and Justin Bieber’s got “Beliebers,” and their followers wear the moniker proudly. And then there’s Farrah Abraham.  The two-bit reality TV personality has chosen the name “RahRahs” to describe her fans, alluding to the last syllable of her first name, but it doesn’t seem to be catching on.  The Teen Mom OG star used the indicator in her last two Instagram posts, trying hard to make it a thing. “Thanks for all your support my #RAHRAHS” she wrote in the caption of an image promoting her social media accounts. “Can you guess what I’m up to next from my #snapchat love all my #RahRahs,” she captioned a second post. However, upon clicking the presumptuous hashtag, one is taken to a collection of posts primarily depicting cheerleaders. In fact, the only two entries that have anything to do with Farrah are the ones she posted herself. Let’s see if it’s taking off on Twitter. Aha! We see the hashtag used by a fan here! That’s right, a fan. As in, one. It’s a direct tweet to Farrah in reply to her hashtagged tweet, coming from @WhitneysTruLove, a user who claims to have been Whitney Houston’s married life partner. Welp, you gotta hand it to the woman. Fail as she might, Farrah is unrelenting in her attempts to drum up publicity for herself, whether she’s trying to resurrect old beefs with Nicki Minaj or starring in Easter Bunny porn. Sorry, Farrah, much like “fetch,” #rahrahs just isn’t going to happen. View Slideshow: 31 Dumbest Farrah Abraham Quotes of All Time

In Touch: Is Angelina Jolie pissed because Brad Pitt & Marion get along?

For months/years, there’s been a steady stream of split rumors about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Sometimes we talk about the rumors, but for the most part, we ignore them. I actually feel a little bit sorry for the tabloids because “Brangelina Split!” just doesn’t have the same kind of urgency that it once did. Sure, if you want to gossip about how By the Sea was a total failure and their relationship might be strained because of it, let’s do that. But we don’t have to pretend that Angelina and Brad still get crazy jealous about costars or whatever. Anyway, as we discussed a few weeks ago, Brad Pitt & Marion Cotillard are working together on the World War II-era espionage film Five Seconds of Silence. According to In Touch, Brad and Marion are getting along really well. So well that Angelina is so, so jelly. Things are going a little too well on the set of Brad Pitt’s upcoming flick ‘Five Seconds of Silence’ – and Angelina Jolie is not happy about it! “Brad it really bonding with his co-star Marion Cotillard,” a source tells In Touch. “They’re flirting and sharing jokes between takes.” That’s troubling for Angelina, with a source claiming: “Brad has become Marion’s one-man fan club. He comes home raving about how classy and talented she is and how much he loves her French accent. Angelina can’t stand it!” Even though there’s no romance between Brad and Marion, recently Angelina became so furious, she walked out. “She went to see Jack O’Connell in a play 140 miles from their home in London. She knew it would get under Brad’s skin.” It worked, and now the pair – who were already having marital issues – are more at odds than ever. “They have both been pushed to the brink. It’s heartbreaking.” [From In Touch Weekly, print edition] It wouldn’t be a Brangelina story if someone wasn’t “walking out” or “storming out” or “running away crying,” usually Brad. I imagine Brad did cry when Angelina “walked out”… to attend the play starring her friend. Personally, I would believe the Jack and Angelina hookup stories before I would believe Brad and Marion are happening. Marion – while beautiful and talented – is sort of a nutburger. I can’t really see Brad being into that. But Jack O’Connell? Back in the day, Jack would have been Angelina’s type, big-time. Photos courtesy of WENN, Fame/Flynet.

Kourtney Kardashian: Fighting With Scott Disick More Fun Than Fighting Boredom

Ah, family.  And television. AND RATINGS! If you’ve been living under a rock for the past three months, then welcome back!  Also, you missed some pretty important things, though none more important than Scott Disick’s re-entry into the Keeping Up With The Kardashians fold! “Scott has been filming for several weeks now,” a source close to the Kardashians told Radar Online. “He is being paid on a per-show basis under the assumption that he is sober. Scott goes through phases where he is a mess and burns it all down, followed by months of playing the role of responsible father. This is just how it is,” the source added. “Kris does not care about what is best for Scott anymore. She is using him for show ratings!” #Family “She knows that people want to watch Scott especially now that he is unstable,” the source went on.  “Also Kourtney gets bored when she’s not fighting with Scott and all of their drama did really well for the show last season.” Is it? A few months ago, GQ did a feature on celebrity club appearances, and accompanied Scott Disick to 1OAK in Las Vegas. One club goer was celebrating her 21st birthday at the club, and when asked why she wanted to spend it with Disick, she explained that he “is a dick, but he’s funny.” And there you have it. Chris Evans isn’t ruling out running for political office: ‘I would never say never’

Captain America fans be damned, I’ve never really been a huge Chris Evans stan. I don’t have a problem with him, it’s just that he sometimes (SOMETIMES) seems like a neurotic whiner. But he’s not like that in his interview with the new issue of Esquire Middle East. He comes across well and almost sort-of Captain America-like. Before now, I had no idea that his uncle is currently serving in the House of Representatives. His uncle is Rep. Mike Capuano. Do they call him “Cap” too?! Anyway, Chris talks about politics and more. Some highlights: Whether he would run for political office: “I would never say never. I’ve always thought it would be nice one day to think about some sort of political pursuit. I’m so proud of my uncle and of anyone who dedicates themselves to helping the progression of society in exacting change for the betterment of mankind. Ultimately, there’s very few things that I consider to be noble and challenging. I know that Washington is a tough place. I have my opinions and maybe later on in life I might try and actually get up on a soap box.” Directing his first movie, Before We Go: “I’d wanted to direct for a long time. It’s just hard to find someone who’s willing to let you direct. I have no training. I’ve never been to any sort of school, so it’s a gamble. It was a situation where we found a script that felt manageable. This was a simple story; it’s two people. It just felt very contained and, not to sound awful, but I aimed a little low, just because I wanted to get my feet wet. I think there’s no shame in that. I didn’t want to bite off more than I could chew the first time out.” What happened as a director: “There were a lot of things I thought I was prepared for that never became a problem, and things I didn’t think would be an issue that ended up being one. So it was very eye opening. But I loved the experience and I want to do it again. I’m trying to aim a little higher in terms of the story and the scope. I feel a little more comfortable behind the camera, and it’s now just about finding the right script. Because the really great scripts are snatched up by the really great directors. So it’s about digging and trying to find the diamond in the rough.” He’ll take more of a break from acting when he has kids: “I would never stop acting completely, because I do love it, but if I was to get married and have kids, I could see myself wanting to be less of a famous actor. The fame thing is the tricky part, especially when you have children, and there is a nice element to the investment in directing. Even the amount of time and passion required for pre- and post-production; you’re with a project intimately for a year. As an actor you’ve got a few months and then you completely forget about it. So I like that connection, and I like that you can be a little more in the shadows but still be part of a profession that you’re in love with.” On ambition: “My big ambition is to not have a big ambition. I know it’s kind of strange but mu goal in life is to practice trying to be present on a daily basis. I think, as people, our consciousness is spread out. We analyze the past, we worry about the future, and it’s all fueled by fear and pain and all these negative things. Even when its good it’s going to be not good in a minute. Then you’re chasing it again. It’s all rooted in time and I think my big ambition is to really practice the ability to quiet my brain a little and just learn how to enjoy the moment.” [From E! News] I didn’t see Before We Go, but I remember that the reviews weren’t bad or anything. He didn’t embarrass himself and he’ll probably be given another opportunity to direct, because Hollywood loves rewarding white guys. I’m just saying… if a black, Asian or Hispanic actor had made the jump to directing and made so little impact with their first film, would they be given another opportunity? As for what he says about possibly running for political office… I actually like that idea. He doesn’t carry around the kind of personal baggage that many “political” actors have – as in, I know less about Chris’s personal life than George Clooney, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, etc. And I think it’s cute that he’s already planning ahead for when he’s married and has kids. LeAnn Rimes called a ‘has-been’ with a ‘Kardasian attitude’ by country radio host

Holding each other up this morning. Grateful to have him with me. #airportlife #earlymorning #tour #lrlive2016 #undertheinfluence #texas #blondie #hubbylove #happytuesday #musician A photo posted by LeAnn Rimes Cibrian (@leannrimes) on Apr 5, 2016 at 8:15am PDT As you can see from this Instagram and her excessive use of hashtags, LeAnn Rimes was recently in Texas for her “tour.” Yes, LeAnn still “tours,” even though her fanbase has dwindled down to barely nothing. I would love to see the cost-benefit analysis of LeAnn’s tours, because I suspect that any money she makes from touring and live performances at this point is negligible. But she was in Texas late last week and she did a show at Billy Bob’s Texas, “the world’s largest honky tonk.” A local songwriter/country musician/radio personality named Bill Mack came out to wish her well. Billy Mack knows country music. He’s seen country artists come and go. And he was not impressed with LeAnn. Incidentally, Mack wrote “Blue,” LeAnn’s biggest single. First, Mack tweeted this: So funny @leannrimes had the lowest attendance @BillyBobsTexas and still acts like a Diva. What a shame. Go back to LA.#Sellout #Hasbeen — Billy Mack (@BillyMackRadio) April 9, 2016 Major OUCH, right? Totally. But then Billy Mack went one step further and explained his tweet in a Facebook post that’s getting a lot of attention: Almost comical, My dad and I go to Billy Bob’s Texas (Which is a whole other story) to see a LeAnn Rimes and wish her the best (which by the way the lowest attendance I’ve seen there in a long time) No need to wonder why she is a has been in this industry. Her lack of humility, to her fans, my dad, Curb Records, or anyone else who has ever been in her corner in the early part of her career is hard, but a lil cute to watch. Sometimes it’s best to stay in LA. Don’t crawl back to Texas with a Kardashian attitude, expecting a Texas size applause. I wish her the best, but you can’t fool the fans. I speak only for me, and nobody else on this matter. [From Billy Mack’s Facebook] Just how rude was LeAnn Rimes to this guy’s dad, for the love of God? I feel like this was more than just average LeAnn obliviousness. This seems like she went out of her way to be a total diva and a—hole. Anyway, just goes to show you – LeAnn is a legend in her own mind, even if her reality doesn’t back it up. Photos courtesy of Fame/Flynet and Instagram.

Charlize Theron in McQueen at the MTV Movie Awards: regal or boring?

Here are some photos of Charlize Theron and Jessica Chastain at this weekend’s MTV Movie Awards. Charlize was nominated for some stuff for Mad Max: Fury Road, but I suspect she came to the show mostly because she and Jessica are shilling for The Huntsman: Winter’s War. Charlize wore this Alexander McQueen dress which… it’s okay. Of all the designers doing sheer fabric with applique designs, I think the house of McQueen does it well. My complaint is that it looks like they were trying too many different styling tricks in one dress. From the front, I thought Charlize was doing a very daring high ponytail with a small fishtail braid, but that’s not what’s happening. She did an intricate mini-bun situation which… I sort of like? I like that she tried something new and that she didn’t get five pounds of weave, you know? That being said, it looks like her mini-buns are pulled too tight. As for Chastain… I think she looks lovely. I love that Jessica and Charlize both wore black and they’re giving me Dark Mistress Witch-Queen vibes, which works for their film. Jessica’s gown is Givenchy, and this is the first Givenchy dress I’ve liked in a while. My only complaint is that Jessica’s girls look like they’re suffocating. Photos courtesy of WENN.

Olivia Wilde on ‘Vinyl’ fashion: ‘People in the ’70s apparently didn’t have hips’

The last time we talked about Olivia Wilde she was discussing the merkin (pubic wig) which she has to wear for nude scenes on her HBO show, Vinyl, set in the 1970s. I was surprised at how many of you had strong feelings about that issue, particularly Olivia’s embarrassment at having a hirsute nether region, even temporarily. I don’t think she was saying that hair down there is hideous, just that she prefers more grooming in that area. To each their own. Some people like their hair long, some like it short. Now Olivia is discussing the fashion on Vinyl, specifically the real vintage clothing they wear. She’s representing H&M’s conscious collection, so that’s part of the reason she’s talking about this issue as well. “I’ll walk around with the wardrobe assistant saying, ‘I want that one, I want that one.’ I really have been so inspired by all the wardrobe across the board,” Wilde told PeopleStyle at the H&M Conscious Exclusive 2016 Collection event in N.Y.C., adding that not all looks work on her: “I can’t fit into any of the pants because people in the ’70s apparently just didn’t have hips. I guess that’s all the hormones in our food, but I don’t understand it. You pick up the jeans and they’re straight — there’s no butt and there’s no hips. They’re for a straight body.” The actress added that there’s also a 2016 pants trend she has trouble pulling off: Boyfriend jeans. “I try to wear the trend, but it always looks terrible, because I have really short legs,” she shared. “Almost everything we wear on the show is real vintage. And that’s a lot of effort on the part of our designer and on the part of the team,” she shared. “We have a whole kind of workshop to take real vintage items and fix them — because when you buy vintage you sometimes have to do a little bit of tailoring and cleaning. We should just be buying things that already exist as oppose to trying to mass produce everything new. Plus, it’s fun to buy things that have a story so that you can say this is a vintage Halston, a piece that has been around.” Wilde has also been going to vintage shops since she was 12, so she’s now a pro at repairing old clothes. “Now I know what to look for and know what to do when I see something that’s messed up. You can buy it, take it to a seamstress and it’s not that expensive fix it, clean it,” she shared. “It’s much cooler to have something that has history than to just buy something new.” Her passion for recycling old clothes makes her the perfect person to partner with H&M on its latest Conscious collection, hitting stores Thursday. Wilde starred in the campaign last year, and this year she’s continuing to spread the brand’s message of eco-friendly fashion. “We think that we’re going to sacrifice style in order to be sustainable, and that’s not true as this collection proves,” Wilde said. “That’s what I love about what H&M’s done this year and last year. They are really good at showing that you can wear a piece that doesn’t necessarily scream sustainability, but just happens to be taking advantage of this new innovation that they’re investing in. I think they’re very smart about the whole process and pioneers within this movement, which I didn’t necessarily know before. I think I connected H&M with my idea of what fast fashion meant to the world. I didn’t realize how much work they were putting in to changing that.” [From People] While it’s true that people in the 70s were smaller than they are now, I think that saying that they didn’t have hips is like saying women in the 50s had pointy boobs. Straight legs were just the style. Plus when you’re talking about vintage fashion, the stuff that’s left is whatever people haven’t bought yet so of course it’s the outlier sizes. I haven’t watched this show yet but I have to say that I love the vintage fashion on The Americans especially. It’s set in the early 80s and their coat p0rn is amazing. I recently read a book by a costume designer for television called How to Get Dressed. The author, Alison Freer, says that fit is key to looking polished, not following trends. She emphasizes tailoring, which is exactly what Wilde is saying here about shopping second hand. You can really see the work that goes into the clothing on television and that book gave me a newfound appreciation for thrift shopping. It must be a blast to get to dressed up in period fashion for your job. As long as it’s not a merkin. Embed from Getty Images photos credit: WENN.com, FameFlynet, Getty and Pacific Coast News
