Emma Watson graduated with a BA in English literature from Brown University today. Here’s more on her academic journey from E!: The 24-year-old actress began her freshman year at the Ivy League school in 2009, and also studied at England’s Oxford University and continued to make movies while pursuing her degree. She took a year off in 2011, but graduating in five years these days is pretty typical, even for non-movie stars. … Really? That’s news to me.  Watson’s prominent role in the Potter franchise made it difficult for her to go unnoticed. “I was in denial,” she said in a 2011 interview. “I wanted to pretend I wasn’t as famous as I was. I was trying to seek out normality, but I kind of have to accept who I am, the position I’m in and what happened.” Over time, her fears dissipated. “I’ve never even been asked for an autograph on campus,” the star said. “I threw a party for nearly 100 students and not a single person put a photo on Facebook.” Girl, they put them all on Instagram instead, duh. Here’s the tweet exchange that went down: “DONT PEGGY OLSEN ME, MOTHERFUCKERS” refers to a quote from Mad Men in which Pete thought he was complimenting Peggy by telling her something like, “You’re just as good as any other woman in this business.” A lot of people are praising her and a lot of people are saying she overreacted. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are pulling out all the damn stops for their big Parisian wedding. Their rehearsal dinner (more like rehearsal DAY) was no different. There were 600 guests, Lana Del Rey showed up and performed, and there were fireworks, according to People. But let’s talk about what Kim wore, which was this: Yes, it’s a very low (and wide) cut white top/skirt or dress, I can’t tell, honestly. What do we think of this: is it a hell, yes! or a God, no!? According to Maxim, there are 100 women that are just too hot to handle, and their 2014 Hot 100 list has an interesting choice in the number one spot: model Candice Swanepoel. Sure, she’s beautiful, but… the MOST? Eh, I dunno. And yes, I do think it’s dumb that lists like this even exist, but as I’ve said before, they always will, and no amount of bitching about it is ever going to change it. So instead, we discuss, apparently. Paul McCartney is hospitalized in Japan

Look, I’m going to say something unpopular, but it has to be said: I think Paul McCartney – and The Beatles in general – are overrated. I get what they did for rock ‘n’ roll, I get how many artists have been influenced by them and all of that, but like… I think it’s time for them to retire. Paul is no spring chicken anymore, and that’s not being ageist, it’s being a realist: his new music is just not very good. Plus, the whole touring around the world thing is NOT easy even on a young person’s body, let alone a 71-year-old… as proven by the fact that Paul’s been hospitalized in Tokyo, Japan after falling ill. A statement on his website read: Since contracting a virus last week that led to the postponement of tour dates, Paul received successful medical treatment at a hospital in Tokyo. He will make a complete recovery and has been ordered to take a few days rest. Paul has been extremely moved by all the messages and well wishes he has received from fans all over the world. And Paul himself added a statement: “Unfortunately my condition has not improved overnight. I was really hoping that I’d be feeling better today. I’m so disappointed and sorry to be letting my fans down. “I was really looking forward to visiting and playing in South Korea for the first time and I’m sorry to be letting fans down.
