It's both tragic and true: Far too many celebrities have lost their lives to a drug overdose. We send our best wishes to the loved ones of these late stars and we hope they are resting in peace… 1. Prince About six weeks after he passed away at home in Minnesota, it was confirmed that Prince died of an opiate overdose. Sad stuff. 2. Whitney Houston Whitney Houston passed away from a cocaine overdose and drowning on February 11, 2012. The legendary singer was 49 years old. 3. Philip Seymour Hoffman Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead by a friend on Super Bowl Sunday in 2014. The Oscar-winning star was 46 at the time and a medical examiner declared that Hoffman died from a mixture of heroin, cocaine and amphetamines. 4. Peaches Geldof Peaches Geldof, 25, died in April 7 at her home in Wrotham, England. A few months later, a British coroner officially ruled that Geldof had died of a heroin overdose. 5. Lisa Robin Kelly Lisa Robin Kelly died in her sleep from multiple drug intoxification on August 14, 2013. She was 43 years old at the time. 6. Cory Monteith Rest in peace, Cory Monteith. Johnny Depp has been on tour with his band (eyeroll) the Hollywood Vampires for the past week. They’ve been touring around Europe, and it’s led to some uncomfortable photo-ops. The Daily Mail got their hands on some exclusive photos of Depp surrounded by people in Denmark, at 2 am outside a bar/club – go here to see. He seems to be in the company of a few ladies and more than a few gentlemen. The DM says that a few of those gentlemen are Depp’s bodyguards, or perhaps the band’s bodyguards/roadies (they look more like roadies than bodyguards, in my opinion). I tend to think the Daily Mail has just made up a narrative to go along with the photos, but they do claim to have eyewitnesses, so maybe this is 100% real. Apparently, while Depp was in Denmark, he was boozing it up quite heavily, plus he was getting blackout-flirty with a mystery blonde. Plus he got into some kind of altercation with one of the bodyguards/roadies. So rock n’ roll. So scarfy. So charming. So youthful. A boozed-up Johnny Depp got into an altercation with one of his own bodyguards — as he cavorted with a mystery blonde in a Denmark bar late Wednesday, according to a report. The 52-year-old actor’s bodyguard was trying to persuade him to return to the Royal Hotel bar about 2:30 a.m., but Depp preferred to continue partying and swigging Champagne at a concert afterparty, the Daily Mail reported. Depp, who is touring Europe with his band The Hollywood Vampires, was celebrating in the wee hours with bandmates and crew members after a gig in the Danish city of Horsens. Depp was intent on “drinking and smoking a lot” with the blonde, witnesses said. “Johnny was in a party mood, that’s for sure,” an observer said. “His bodyguard had his hand on his shoulder and was trying to get him to go back inside, but Johnny refused to go. More and more fans came up to him and he wanted to talk to all of them and take selfies with them,” the witness said, the paper reported. “And the bodyguard got more and more persistent but Johnny didn’t want to go. … And he definitely drank his fair share of alcohol.” Photographs show the tattooed Depp — clad in a brown-and-black vest and white shirt — glaring furiously at the bodyguard as he tried to lead him away from several people. Meanwhile, a brunette seems to be trying to calm the volatile actor, putting his arm around her shoulder. “Johnny was the last one to leave the bar, even after everyone had finished the champagne and gone home, it was Johnny that went back to the bar,” the observer said. “To look at him last night, with his clothes from the show and the mascara and everything, he looked like he was Jack Sparrow one more time.” The actor was outside the hotel bar with the blonde for a couple of hours, the paper reported. “They smoked a lot and drank a lot,” another observer said. “Johnny was sitting at a table behind me at the time, before they went outside together. They were outside together for about two hours and looked very animated when they were talking. It looked like she was really leading the conversation, while he was listening to her. And she was smoking a lot the whole time and drinking from the bottle of bubbly. It’s clear they already knew each other. I stood by her when she was at the bar and she asked a woman for a light, and she was bought a white wine by an older man at the bar,” the person said. [From Page Six] This sounds like “obvious story is obvious.” I’m almost positive that Depp is in the throes of addiction, and I’m almost positive that this is Depp bottoming out. Most addiction-experts believe that you’re just supposed to stand back and let the addict hit rock bottom on their own and then, hopefully, they will acknowledge that they need help. But Depp’s downward spiral seems to be less self-harming and more violent-towards-other-people. Don’t get me wrong, he’s self-destructive too. But he’s so cushioned by yes-men and sycophants that I’m more concerned for the people around him who get caught up – physically and emotionally – in his downward spiral. And if Depp is really taking out sh-t on the people who get paid to look after him? Well, maybe Amber Heard will have even more witnesses. Adele’s tour has been going pretty smoothly. She ends up making news for cute reasons, like when she wins awards in the middle of a show, or when she forgets the lyrics to one of her songs and has to stop everything to call herself out. But there have been no health problems, no meltdowns, no major flubs or anything like that. But over the weekend, Adele did have to bitch out one of her fans at a concert in Verona, Italy. Apparently, the Adele-fan was filming Adele and Adele stopped the show to drag this fan. In case you can’t make out what she says, Adele tells the fan: “Yeah, I want to tell that lady as well, can you stop filming me with a video camera because I’m really here in real life. You can enjoy it in real life, rather than through your camera. Can you take your tripod down? This isn’t a DVD, this is a real show. I’d really like you to enjoy my show because there’s lots of people outside that couldn’t come in.” What’s crazy is that this person had a whole set-up involving a tripod?!? Jesus H. I get that it’s “the thing to do” nowadays to film your concert-going experience on a shaky camera-phone, but seriously… why not just put the camera down and actually experience the concert? Maybe that sounds impossibly old-school, I know. Meanwhile, did you know that Adele has quietly purchased a home in Beverly Hills? IS SHE MOVING TO AMERICA?!?! Adele already owns property in England, obviously, but I do wonder if she wants to spend more time in America these days. She’s reportedly just signed a huge new recording contract with Sony and she obviously plans to keep making albums for a long time. Maybe she wants her next album to be recorded in LA. As previewed yesterday, this week’s tabloids are full of interesting/funny/untrue speculation about George and Amal Clooney’s marriage, based solely on their appearance at the Cannes Film Festival last week. For the record (since we’re on the record!), I kind of think George and Amal are fine. Their first year of marriage was a whirlwind of craziness, but they seem to have “settled down” quite a bit in 2016. Still, I always enjoy some good Amal gossip. In Touch Weekly had the longer story full of deliciously bitchy details. Some highlights: Amal’s posing. An insider says: “Cannes has strict rules about a non-movie member posing for obligatory cast photos – it’s a big deal and very rare for a spouse to join. But Amal, with George’s blessing of course, barged right in. Amal wore a look-at-me bright yellow gown amid the cast’s sea of black, she had trouble adjusting her long train in the wind so she also held up the entire process, which meant all eyes were on her.” Julia was pissed. “Julia was stunned that Amal tried to steal her show and her thunder, and that George actually let her.” So in retaliation, Julia flirted with George, and the source says, “Amal felt like Julia was flirting with George and she was seething!” Amal hates Julia. Amal hated how friendly George and Julia were on the set of Money Monster and “Amal can’t stand how Julia monopolizes her husband’s time.” After the Cannes red carpet, Amal pulled George aside and told him that Julia was being “disrespectful.” Julia “was so mad that she had a mini-meltdown about it and was overheard complaining about Amal’s rude move and George should have known better.” Julia hates Amal too. After spending some time with Amal and George in Como, Italy last summer, “Julia left with a very bad taste in her mouth.” Julia would “mock image-obsessed Amal behind her back after seeing how Amal constantly had her hair and makeup touched up and wore glamorous gowns during a casual weekend.” A source says: “Julia laughed at her because she thinks she’s so absurd.” [From In Touch Weekly, print edition] While I think this whole thing is being overblown, I do believe that there’s some shade and gossip going on at the core. Like, Julia was pissed that Amal was being so showy and look-at-me. And Amal was pissed because Julia was goose-honking all over George. I also sort of believe that Amal is severely image-obsessed? That’s just my gut-level reaction to seeing her pap strolls and red carpet posing. Meanwhile, Star Magazine claims that Amal and George looked like they were having serious problems at Cannes. A Cannes tipster reveals that after George and Amal walked the Cannes carpet together, they stopped pretending to be all lovey-dovey. “Once inside, it was obvious to everyone there that George and Amal had been fighting all day. I don’t think either one of them wanted to be there.” Arms crossed and scowl fixed, it was clear the human rights lawyer wasn’t happy with her husband. In fact, eyewitnesses say the two barely said a word to each other during dinner that night at Le Michelangelo in Antibes and cast a frosty chill over the afterparty at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc. “It looked like George truly regretted bringing Amal out. Larry David thinks white people only pretend to like ‘Hamilton’ to be ‘hip’

I’m going back and forth about whether I think these Larry David quotes are offensive. Larry David was doing an interview with the Mike Lupica Show this week, and he was asked about the smash Broadway musical Hamilton. Hamilton has been a phenomenon for more than a year, it’s pulled in tens of millions of dollars in ticket sales, and Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda has won a Pulitzer and a Peabody, plus the musical picked up no fewer than 16 Tony Award nominations. Basically, everyone thinks Hamilton is THE BEST. Full-stop. But no, says Larry David. Hamilton is popular because white people are just pretending to like it so they can be hip. “Hamilton” may be making history on Broadway, but Larry David, for one, is curbing his enthusiasm. The comic actor took to the “Mike Lupica Show” podcast, which debuted Tuesday, to express his theory that a lot of the demand comes from white ticket-buyers trying to “solidify their liberal bona fides.” “Yeah, ‘Hamilton’ — it was pretty amazing,” David told the Daily News columnist. “But I have a feeling there are a lot of white people who are saying they are completely blown away even though they didn’t really understand half of the things the people on stage were saying. They just want to solidify their liberal bona fides and how cool they are: ‘Yea, I love Hamilton. Yea I get it, I’m hip.’” Lupica made a connection to the kind of voters who mislead political pollsters. “I think some of them are. No but, the show is amazing,” said David. “No doubt about it, it’s an incredible show, but I do have this theory on a lot of the people that are seeing it.” [From The NY Daily News] I was going to make a point about how Larry David would never say “Leonardo DiCaprio’s films are so popular because white people just want to pretend that they’re cool.” But I actually do think that happens. By most accounts, The Revenant was a beautiful snoozefest, and I do think some people said they liked the movie because they wanted to look artsy and cool. So, is that happening with Hamilton? Or is Larry David showing off some racial microaggression about Hamilton, like the only reason it’s so successful is because white people are trying to be cool about something they don’t “get”? Leah Messer: Daughter Losing Too Much Weight?

This season alone, fans have slammed Leah Messer a multitude of times for bad parenting. And we're feeling another strike coming on. In a preview clip for Teen Mom 2, Corey Simms brings up concerns about six-year-old Ali, the daughter he shares with Leah. Ali, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, is losing too much weight, Corey believes. "Next time we go to Columbus, if I can't go, you might want to mention about her diet," Corey tells Leah as she drops off their daughter. Leah appears perplexed. "Diet?" she asks, quizzically. "How she's not eating," Corey explains. "It takes everything I got to get her to eat." Leah tells her ex that Ali eats when she's with her, but Corey doesn't think it's sufficient. "She eats, but she doesn't eat enough," he says. "She's been not eating for a while." "We weighed her and now she's 34 pounds," he continues. "I think she's lost weight because she was almost 40 pounds." Leah looks concerned, confused and tired, then argues that she thinks Ali hasn't gained or lost weight, but is just staying the same. Still, she agrees to make a doctor's appointment for their daughter to appease Corey. Earlier this week, Leah was criticized for allowing her other daughter, Adalynn, to eat frosting straight out of the container. Back in March, she came under fire for failing to feed her kids breakfast before school. Is it possible Leah doesn't understand the concept of proper nourishment for children? Or is she really just the victim of unfair editing, like she has been asserting for the past few months? You be the judge:

Here are some photos of Blac Chyna out to lunch with friends in Miami a few days ago. As you can see, she’s wearing a pretty simple jumpsuit and flats and she’s obviously showing these days. I think Chyna/Angela Kardashian just has one of those body types that “show” very quickly, like Kim Kardashian and Jessica Simpson. Short, curvy women are never going to carry their pregnancies like Gisele Bundchen, you know? But that doesn’t stop people from freaking out online and on social media. After these photos came online, people were criticizing Chyna’s pregnant body, because the internet is a cesspool of body shaming. So Chyna had something to say: “To all you people out here with negative comments and insecure words (obviously because you have nothing else to do but criticize the next) I AM HAVING A BABY! Exactly what do you expect to see?!
