Melissa McCarthy Has a Message for Body Shamers

Melissa McCarthy recently showed off a 50-pound weight loss, but truth be told, she doesn’t really want to talk about it. “If that is the most interesting thing about me, I need to go have a lavender farm in Minnesota and give this up,” she told Refinery29. “There are so many more intriguing things about women than their butt or their this or their that. It can’t be the first question every time, or a question at all.” Regrettably, women today are still being scrutinized for their weight, and today, the actress took to Instagram to vent her frustration. She posted an image of a sign stuck to a mirror that reads, “WARNING: Reflections in this mirror may be distorted by socially constructed ideas of ‘beauty.'” Well said.  In the caption, she included her own poignant message: “We have to stop categorizing and judging women based on their bodies. We are teaching young girls to strive for unattainable perfection instead of feeling healthy and happy in their own skin. ‘Imagine we are linked not ranked.’ Gloria Steinem” Looks like she’s ready to start a conversation, or more likely, end the one that’s been going on for far too long.  The star is tired of women being valued solely for their bodies when they have so much more to offer. “We’re always being ranked and when we come together, you know, women are amazing together,” she said in a recent interview. “Women are friends. Women are not really competing with each other. I think everyone wants to make it seem that way with who wore it better, whose butt is better, whose glasses are crazier. Kailyn Lowry & Javi Marroquin Fight Over Racy Photo, Unfollow Each Other on Twitter

After months of rumors that Javi Marroquin’s deployment has been putting their marriage to the test, Kailyn Lowry may have just kicked her husband to the curb in very public fashion. Javi has been overseas with the U.S. Air Force for the past three months, and photos of Marroquin with a mystery woman surfaced online shortly after he left, leading to reports that he and Kailyn had called it quits. At the time, sources close to the couple insisted they were still together, but now a different photo (and a different woman) may have caused Kailyn to pull the plug on her marriage of three years. In a truly bizarre twist, Marroquin seems to have ratted on himself by admitting on Twitter that he recently sent racy photos to a female friend. “The snap I just sent @Kimberlyyy_Rene #onmycalvinkleinshhh,” Marroquin tweeted, implying that he was in his underwear in the pic. Asked how she feels about the strange confession, Kailyn tweeted, “Borderline inappropriate but it is what it is.” She deleted the tweet moments later. Marroquin tagged Lowry in a tweet that read simply, “Don’t,” but he also deleted it. When a fan assured Marroquin that Lowry loves and misses him, the 23-year-old replined, “Haha too late.” At some point in the last 24 hours, both Kailyn and Javi stopped following each other on Twitter and Instagram. Yes, obviously we’re talking about the margaritas.  Ariel captioned the pic, “Legal frozen margarita with the sister.” She’s only 18 but she’s in Paris at the moment, so there’s no need to obsess over this photo, everyone! We kid, of course. The real reason this pic has racked up 56,000 likes is Ariel’s boobs. In the wake of her breast reduction surgery, the Modern Family star has been favoring a much more cleavagey look, and the Internet has responded the way it always responds to breasts. This one hasn’t gone as viral as the photo of Ariel in a low-cut dress on Easter Sunday, but don’t worry – the comments section is still filled with grown-ups having serious discussions about an 18-year-old girl’s boobs. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton: It’s Baby-Making Time!

So, things are moving along nicely for these two. It hasn’t been six months since Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton officially started dating, but let’s assume they want to make a baby together. Thankfully, In Touch has already set the scene.  The tabloid claims that Stefani, 46, “is freezing her eggs because she wants to have a baby with Blake.” Stefani has three boys with ex, Gavin Rossdale – Kingston,9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2. The story goes on to mention what every woman loves to read about: the fact that her biological clock is ticking and the chances of conceiving a child diminish as she gets older. Fun! “She’d love to have a girl — plus Gwen knows her boys would love to have another sibling — and wants to give Blake this opportunity to have a child that biologically his,” a source told the tabloid. “But she doesn’t want her age to prevent this from happening.” Shelton, ever the gentleman, reportedly doesn’t want his lady love to fret. “Even though Blake is insisting he doesn’t need biological children, Gwen isn’t taking any chances.” In the April 2016 issue of Vanity Fair, Stefani didn’t elaborate too much on her relationship, but did confirm that she’s totes in L. “I think my spiritual journey is to have had these weird relationships and write music that people can somehow relate to,” Stefani,who just released her latest album, told the magazine. “I’ve never had a record that is almost all about being happy and in love.”

Tyler Baltierra & Daughter Visit Catelynn Lowell in Rehab

Last week, Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell checked into rehab in order to receive treatment for a number of emotional issues. In the days prior to her departure, there were rumors that Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra were headed for divorce, as both newlyweds posted cryptic and troubling social media messages hinting at trouble in the home. Fortunately, Tyler put those fears to rest over the weekend when he tweeted about bringing daughter Nova to visit Catelynn for the Easter holiday. “On a flight to go see Cate & Nova first choked on a cracker, then puked up the cracker all over me & then pooped, all within a half hour!” he tweeted on Saturday. Catelynn has spoken openly about her past struggles with postpartum depression, and though she didn’t go into detail about her latest bout, she has confirmed that she’ll be in treatment for the next several weeks. In the meantime, Tyler seems to be holding things down at home. According to his social media pages, he spent the weekend completing a renovation project and catching Batman v Superman with friends. The location of Catelynn’s treatment facility is unknown, but it seems Tyler and Nova will spend the next few days at a nearby hotel. The former sex tape star shared a new set of her special emojis on her official website this week, writing as an affiliated message to the photo above: “It’s almost Easter! I want to give you guys a little surprise: new Easter Kimoji! “There are over a dozen new Kimoji, including colorful eggs, me in bunny ears and a fun KIMOGIF! Easter is a really big deal in my family and I get super into it. “These new Kimoji are seriously soooo cute, I can’t deal!!!” Most followers have taken note of the African-American Jesus Christ icon because it’s not something you see very often. But it is common knowledge that Kim likes her men black. So why would she not like her Sons of God the same way? When Kardashian launched her Kimojis last December, they actually crashed the Apple store. According to reports at the time, there was a point where 9,000 downloads of these icons were happening per millisecond. Which is utterly insane and depressing. Bar Refaeli is five months pregnant, but if it weren’t for the hashtag on her latest Instagram photo, there’s no way you would ever know that: The 30-year-old model and mom-to-be posted the above image with a caption reading, “My girl was craving some vitamin D #5months.” Refaeli is used to getting a lot of attention for her selfies, but usually for the simple reasons that she’s a model with a couple million followers. Now, she’s in a situation that brings to mind the predicament of fellow model Sarah Stage, whose taut baby bump photos earned her heaps of online criticism. Eventually, Stage gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby boy, so maybe the Internet will just chill this time and not attack Bar for putting her babies health at risk like they did with Sarah. Just kidding! It’s 2016; you really think people are gonna pass up the opportunity to get outraged? Before you rush over to Bar’s IG page to start talking trash, however, please bear in mind that every pregnancy is deifferent. Besides, it’s still relatively early in the game.
