Demi Lovato Quits Social Media, Tells Trolls to GTFO

Demi Lovato may be Cool for the Summer. But she isn’t cool with a lot of the stuff being said about her and to her on social media. Following a string of insults and negativity on various platforms, Lovato surprised Twitter followers on Monday afternoon when she announced her departure from nearly all of social media. “Damn I gotta quit sayin s–t. Bye Twitter,” she wrote. “And Insta.” It’s unclear what, exactly, prompted this decision on Demi’s behalf. But she added that she will remain on Snapchat and made it clear that online haters have simply made Twitter and Instagram too unpleasant for her these days. “I like Snapchat cause I don’t have to see what some of y’all say,” she Tweeted. ” “Follow me if you want: theddlovato. But why do people actually give a f–k what I say?? Like if you don’t care the gtfo haha.” Lovato, who recently split from Wimer Valderrama after six years of dating, is one of our favorite celebrity follows. She keeps it real. She speaks her mind. She focuses on important issues. Multiple times in the past, Lovato has spoken out about such personal topics as her former cocaine use, hoping to use her mistakes and life story in order to help others. In early May, Lovato went on somewhat of a Twitter rant, even referencing her bipolar disorder during the diatribe. It wasn’t clear at that time, either, exactly what prompted the rant. That one time I started my own charity providing mental health care for people who can’t afford it and this is what y’all talk about. And people wonder what’s wrong with the world. Pay more attention to good than bad. It’s not really too hard to figure out what happened here. Lovato wants to assist those with mental illness. She wants to help people overcome their personal insecurities and substance abuse issues. And idiotic trolls likely just want to make fun of her body. At long last, my Tiddles high is finally wearing off. I was positively giddy for 24 hours because I was just excited about the TIDDLES. Glorious Tiddles. But now it’s time for the come-down. After enjoying some Rhode Island Tiddlesbanging, Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift are off! They flew out of Rhode Island on her private plane yesterday, and the Daily Mail and TMZ had the photos (I’m including them below). While this is not the first time Lord Dragonfly has flown on a private plane, I would imagine it’s the first time he’s flown on a girlfriend’s private plane. News had a new story about Calvin yesterday afternoon in which sources say Calvin was the one who had “checked out” of the relationship for a while and “Their rhythm as a couple was just off. They beated to a different beat. Taylor and Adam have been checked out for sometime now.” But how does Calvin feel about the Tiddlesbanging? “Adam is over Taylor in every way shape and form. He knew she was talking to someone towards the end of their relationship.” Uh-huh. Taylor did the dumping! Page Six is still insisting that Swift dumped Calvin Harris, but now they say she dumped him for Tom, and she gave Calvin “a bulls–t excuse about her career. He was ring shopping.” Taylor and Tom’s Met Gala dance. The Sun brought in a body-language expert to analyze Tom and Taylor’s awkward, flailing dancing at the Met Gala. The expert determined that they were definitely showing their interest for each other back then Tom pounced right away. Sources tell Reveal Mag that as soon as Tom found out that Taylor and Calvin were over, he called her that day AND had flowers delivered to her. Considering they were in the same city (LA) when the break-up announcement was made, wouldn’t it have been easier for him to just stop by her house? Tom’s suede boots. Brandi Glanville to Yolanda Foster: You Need to Get Some D—, Girl!

Yolanda Foster filed for divorce from husband David Foster in January, and her former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Brandi Glanville thinks it’s time to get her groove back. In a new interview with People, Glanville shared a piece of advice she has for Foster. “I said, ‘Girl, you need to get out there and get some d!'” Glanville told the magazine. Girl has a point. But Foster wasn’t so into the idea. “And she was like, ‘No!’ So I said, ‘You can’t say that! I’m serious, it might make you feel better!'” she insisted.  “And she laughs at me. But she knows my intentions are good, I just say crazy sh*t,” said Glanville. Sources: Calvin Harris dumped Taylor because he couldn’t handle her success

A lot of people think I’m a Taylor Swift-hater. I’m really not! I like to call her out on her bulls—t, of course, but I actually love her. I love that she rarely takes the high road. I love that she’s so smart in business and an absolute idiot when it comes to romance. I love that you can always count on Taylor to be a melodramatic narcissist. I even love the fact that absolutely NO ONE believed that Taylor and Calvin Harris’s split was going to be drama-free. Where’s the fun in that? So I had a smile on my face when I read People Magazine’s new exclusive story on The End of the Fairy Tale. Guess how Team Swifty is spinning the fact that Taylor got dumped again? Calvin Harris was intimidated by her success! Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift’s relationship ended because the DJ was “intimidated” by her success, a friend of the singer tells PEOPLE. “[Harris] said on multiple occasions that he was intimidated by Taylor, which is why he would not attend any events where she was being honored, or any award shows unless he was nominated,” explains Swift’s friend. Harris, 32, was notably absent when Swift co-chaired the Met Gala last month, as well as at the Grammys ceremony in February, and when the “Bad Blood” singer accepted an award named after her at the May BMI Pop Awards. But Swift is holding her head high, adds the pal. “Taylor is an independent young woman, and she realizes it will take a very secure man to handle her success,” says her friend. A source close to the DJ – whom sources confirm ultimately pulled the plug on the relationship – tells PEOPLE that the split “wasn’t a shock” for Swift because the couple had ongoing issues. “They come from very different worlds,” the source explains. “Taylor is used to being treated a certain way.” The Harris insider added that he didn’t feel like the relationship was “leading anywhere.” “It wasn’t an equal relationship. Their age difference might not be significant for many couples, but for them it was part of the problem too,” says the Harris source. “Taylor somewhat lacks real-life experience. They will not be getting back together.” Regardless, the insider says that Harris still has high praise for his ex, noting that the Scottish star “very much admires her as a person and what she has been able to do with her career. This is what drew him to her in the first place. She works incredibly hard for things that she believes in,” the Harris source says. He always saw that as an amazing quality. She’s basically telling the world that she got dumped because poor little Calvin Harris felt emasculated by her success. She’s calling him insecure. She’s saying that he couldn’t handle the fact that she’s so rich, beautiful and acclaimed. Is that the truth? Does it matter? As for the quotes from Team Calvin sources… well, this was always the reason why Calvin and Taylor were perfect together. He gives as good as he gets, and he’s great at unleashing his inner bitch. “Taylor somewhat lacks real-life experience.” OUCH. He’s saying she’s immature, naïve and insular. “They will not be getting back together.” As in, she wanted to get back together and he didn’t. Meanwhile, the National Enquirer says that Taylor was convinced that Calvin was cheating on her after that now-infamous massage parlor incident. And sources claim Calvin was convinced that Taylor was cheating on him after he heard about her behavior with Tom Hiddleston at the Met Gala. There are a lot of people who think TIDDLES (Taylor + Hiddles) could be a reality soon. Still, other people want to see Taylor go for Prince Harry. I called it weeks ago! As soon as Gigi Hadid started getting pap’d in LA and New York solo, looking sort of sad and out of sorts, I knew that something was up. I even speculated – based off of some tabloid reporting – that Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid were through last week. And now E! News is confirming it. Zayn and Gigi are over after seven months together. They’re young and impulsive and “sources” believe that it’s possible they may get back together. Another young Hollywood couple has decided to call it quits. E! News exclusively confirms that model Gigi Hadid and singer Zayn Malik have broken up after dating for roughly seven months. While the reason behind their split remains unknown at the moment, a source tells us that there has been some rough patches within the relationship for a bit now. “During her birthday they were fighting,” an insider tells E! News, adding that they weren’t doing well then, and have “broken up and got back together a few times.” Another source confirms the breakup, but also reveals that there may be a reconciliation in the near future, telling E! News, “Zayn and Gigi did break up, but they can likely get back together tomorrow. It’s all very unclear what’s going on between them now. They been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along.” The source adds, “Gigi is really sad about this, though, and in a way would like to work it out. It’s more about that constant contact with Zayn that she misses and they did get very close.” [From E! News] Us Weekly confirmed the split but they had no new details. The vibe I was getting – and which I’m still getting – is that Zayn pulled the plug for unknown reasons. I said last week that he’s crazy if he thinks he can upgrade to a bigger, more high-profile model, and all of the Zayn-loonies made it sound like Zayn and Gigi were never going to last because reasons. Whatever, y’all. I thought they were perfect together, and I also thought that Gigi helped Zayn get to the next level after he left One Direction. Before Gigi, many saw him as just some punk who made a terrible career decision. Considering that Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris’s breakup went from zero to DRAMA in the span of an hour on Wednesday, it’s sort of interesting that Calvin is trying to reclaim the higher ground. After some particularly juicy gossip came out about the breakup last night, Calvin tweeted this: The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect — Calvin Harris (@CalvinHarris) June 2, 2016 “A huge amount of love and respect…” Sure. For what it’s worth, I think they really did care about each other. I know there were always claims that this was all a contractual relationship, but I think they were for real. And now she’s heartbroken and he’s doing damage control and their teams are leaking damaging stories and it’s all so petty and melodramatic and amazing. Speaking of, as I covered earlier today, People Magazine had a bitchy he-said/she-said story last night, with Swifty sources claiming that Calvin dumped Swifty because he was intimidated by her success. This is what Page Six had to say about that: Calvin Harris breaking up with Taylor Swift because he’s “intimidated by her success is a bunch of crap,” a source close to the DJ told Page Six. “She broke up with him this week,” the source said. “She gave a bulls - - t excuse about her career. He was ring shopping.” A friend of Swift’s had told People magazine that Harris was “intimidated” by her success and “would not attend any events where she was being honored.” But another source told us, “He’s not intimidated. He’s a global success.” The couple dated for 15 months. [From Page Six] Love it. Love everything about it! And no, I don’t believe he was ring-shopping. And no, I don’t believe Taylor dumped Calvin. Taylor only acts this crazy when she’s the one who gets dumped, and all of the other sources are still sticking to the original story, that he dumped her last week. Still, E! News’ sources claim that Calvin was unhappy for months: For Calvin Harris, the spark in his relationship with Taylor Swift had fizzled out long before he called it quits, E! News has learned. “Adam has been bored for a while and was hoping the spark would come back but it hasn’t,” a source told E! News exclusively Thursday. “Friends were even surprised it lasted this long because of the lack of chemistry.” [From E! News] I do think that Calvin Harris’s pre-Swifty girlfriends were “sexy” ladies, more of the model/bombshell variety. And while I love Swifty, she has always come across as somewhat asexual, like she’s more about cats, baking and antiquing. Soko wears lace Chloe doily to Cannes photocall: interesting or terrible?

Here are some photos from the Cannes photocall for The Dancer, also being called La Danseuse (French for “the dancer”). The film is being called Lily-Rose Depp’s big entrance into acting, and she stars as Isadora Duncan. Soko – best known around here as Kristen Stewart’s melodramatic ex-girlfriend – plays Loie Fuller. I was expecting the fashion-story around this film to be centered around Lily-Rose, honestly. I wasn’t expecting Soko to bring it at all. But Soko brought it! And Lily-Rose just didn’t. Lily-Rose is wearing Chanel shorts and insouciance. Soko wore this lace Chloe dress which just looks like a gigantic doily to me. I was going to shade the sh-t out of this choice, but then I looked up Loie Fuller and I saw this amazing photo of her. My point? I think Soko is homage-ing the real Fuller with this look, and for that, I can’t shade her. I’ll also say this as gently as possible but… I didn’t realize that Soko is actually quite pretty? In paparazzi photos with K-Stew and on other red carpets, she’s looked sort of grungy and like she thought our notions of beauty were petty bourgeoisie nonsense. But she took a shower and applied some makeup and she looks nice. Also: there’s already some drama on the Kristen Stewart thing. Following their split a few weeks ago, Soko slammed Kristen (maybe) as a “f—king cheater.” Now they’re both in Cannes and attending the same Chanel party. They arrived separately and things were probably “tense.” Last thing: I didn’t realize that Gaspard Ulliel is in this film. Gaspard is MY FRENCH BAE. He’s mine!
