Not exactly earth-shattering news. Beyonce hyped a big announcement to be made on Good Morning America on Monday, June 8, releasing a teaser video this past weekend and getting fans talking about just what the news might be.
The promotional clip, which made its way online in the late hours of Sunday evening, showed Beyonce telling a camera, “This is something I have to share with everyone.” The video inspired speculation that Queen Bey was finally releasing a studio album with her husband Jay Z, or announcing that she was pregnant again, making 3-year-old daughter Blue Ivy a big sister.
The actual reveal was far less shocking. The Grammy winner, 33, made her appearance on GMA to discuss her vegan diet. She took Marco Borges’ 22-Day Vegan Challenge in 2013, and has since stuck with the meal plan, shedding inches and pounds off of her famed figure.
“I am not naturally the thinnest woman,” she said in the recorded video on the morning show. “I have curves, I’m proud of my curves. I have struggled since a young age with diets. Finding something that actually works, that actually keeps the weight off has been difficult for me.”
The star, who added that her skin is “really firm and a lot tighter” since trying the challenge, said the program helped her get the weight “off fast” and keep it off. She used the GMA appearance to promote 22 Days Nutrition, her meal delivery service with Borges that was first announced in February.While some foodies were seemingly pleased with Beyonce’s highly anticipated announcement, many members of the Beyhive were less than thrilled with the apparent letdown and took to Twitter to voice their frustration.
“They had the dramatic music in the Beyonce/GMA interview commercial and she’s announcing that she only eats grass lmao,” one Twitter user wrote. Another added, “This Beyoncé announcement had me dead, I almost made it to school an hour late because I thought this GMA announcement would’ve been big,” while a third chimed in, “What a joke. Beyonce uses Good Morning America to announce she’s vegan. Yikes.”

Gwyneth Paltrow did ‘WWHL’, talked past drug use, Blue Ivy & Angelina Jolie
I am developing a begrudging respect for the way Gwyneth Paltrow has been hustling for Mortdecai. Hell, it might even work. Whenever I say that a film looks terrible and will likely bomb at the box office, it does really well or critics love it (see also: Paddington). So maybe by insulting Mortdecai as Scarfy Depp trying to act like the second coming of Peter Sellers, I’m really guaranteeing its success. In any case, Gwyneth Paltrow has been undertaking the bulk of the film promotion, with Olivia Munn and Johnny Depp making a few appearances here and there. Ewan McGregor is hilariously MIA. So, Goop has been hustling HARD. People are still talking about all of dirt and gossip she revealed with Howard Stern. And now this: on Thursday night, she appeared on Watch What Happens Live and she ended up talking about drugs, Angelina Jolie, Blue Ivy Carter and more.
#NoFilter! Gwyneth Paltrow stopped by Watch What Happens Live on Thursday, Jan. 15, where she revealed even more details about her Hollywood life, one day after her headline-making Howard Stern chat. The Mortdecai actress, 42, impressively did not Plead the Fifth (at all!) during Andy Cohen’s popular segment. Instead, she took all of his questions in stride, telling the Bravo personality that her infamous April 2009 GOOP newsletter about a “frenemy” was not-at-all related to a celebrity.
Cohen then asked Paltrow which of her exes’ current wives she would rather be stuck in an elevator with: Brad Pitt’s spouse Angelina Jolie or Ben Affleck’s wife Jennifer Garner. “That’s a really good question!” Paltrow said, stalling. “Um, I mean…I think either. I really like Jennifer Garner. I don’t know Angelina Jolie very well.”
She was then asked about the “hardest drug” she’s ever consumed during her many years in Hollywood. Without skipping a beat, Paltrow responded: “Ecstasy.” (Paltrow has previously joked about her past drug use, telling Ross Mathews in 2013: “I did so many drugs in the ’90s. I don’t remember. I have no idea.”)
Another topic of interest on WWHL was Paltrow’s friendship with Beyonce and Jay Z, which she also discussed with Stern. “The greatest perk of being their friend,” mused Paltrow, “is that I have a relationship with people who have similar [backgrounds]. Obviously, I’m not as famous or successful as they are, but I do have a life in the public eye, and I have people to walk through life with in that capacity.” She noted of the world-famous couple: “They’re very kind and loving people.”
The best aspect about being Bey and Jay’s bestie is none other than hanging out with Blue Ivy Carter. “It also means I get to be around their daughter, who I love so freaking much!” Paltrow, a mother of two herself, gushed.
Cohen then asked about the 3-year-old hip-hop scion’s personality. “She is a powerhouse,” the GOOP founder noted. “She is the boss of everything. She can do all the choreography to ‘Chandelier,’ even though she’s just 3 years old. She’s just super smart, and I love her so much.”

Honestly, I thought Gwyneth was throwing a little shade at Angelina when I just read the quotes, but when I watched the video (below), I came out of it thinking that there was no shade thrown. Gwyneth didn’t say “I don’t know Angelina Jolie very well” with any kind of wink, she just says it like she really doesn’t know Angelina. As for Gwyneth’s hardest drug… ecstasy? I mean, sure, that’s a hard drug. I’ve never done it. I’ve never done coke either, but I think cocaine is probably much more serious than ecstasy. And I’m guessing Goop has done coke?

When I was covering the photos of Beyonce, Jay-Z and Blue Ivy in Antibes last week, this is what I wrote: “If I worked for a tabloid, I would use the multiple photos of Beyonce touching her stomach as ‘evidence’ that Bey and Jay are having a band-aid baby to save their marriage.” Guess what? Stomach-touching is absolutely the most valid form of Bump Watch. And I should totally work for In Touch. During their Paris show on Friday night, Jay-Z maybe/kind of said that Beyonce is knocked up again.
Announcing milestones on stage is their thing! Jay Z sparked brand new buzz that Beyonce is pregnant with their second child when he changed lyrics to a song during the couple’s last On the Run show in Paris on Friday, Sept. 12.
The rapper, 44, made the possible announcement while performing his hit song “Beach Is Better,” rapping, “Cause she pregnant with another one.”
The tantalizing clue flips the conversation about the couple, who have endured serious marriage trouble over the past several months — with divorce even a possibility — multiple sources have told Us. They somewhat quelled fears when they shared a kiss on stage after Beyonce’s Michael Jackson Vanguard Video Award performance at the MTV Video Music Awards late last month and packed on the PDA at the 2014 Made In America Festival over Labor Day weekend.
Beyonce, 33, and Jay Z tied the knot in April 2008 and welcomed daughter Blue Ivy in January 2012. Like her husband’s supposed admission, the singer too revealed they were expecting a child on stage when she rubbed her baby bump after singing “Love on Top” at the 2011 VMAs.

Sources also say that Jay and Bey were acting particularly loved-up during the show, but that might have just been because the HBO cameras were all around.
So what’s the over/under on Beyonce being pregnant? Let me ask it a different way: what are the chances that in the next nine months, Beyonce and Jay will debut a new baby? Someone might be pregnant and maybe it’s Beyonce. Maybe it’s a surrogate. Maybe it’s a pillow. Maybe people just misheard Jay-Z. Maybe Jay and Bey are just the biggest stunt-queens in the world and this is just the last gasp of an empire. Who even knows at this point?

Here are some photos of Jay-Z and Beyonce in Portofino, Italy on Saturday. These are pap shots, by the way. You know junk has just gotten REAL when Beyonce and Jay get pap’d looking coupled up. Usually, they successfully fly under the paparazzi radar. They’re like Brangelina that way – if they’re getting pap’d, there’s a reason, there’s a message, there’s something to promote. And the promotion these days is personal. The promotion is: “Our marriage is solid. See how we’re walking arm-in-arm? See how sexy and in charge we look? That’s no accident, Hive.”
Incidentally, if they were just wandering around a yacht like this, I wouldn’t think much of it. But I’m pretty sure Beyonce doesn’t have anything on underneath her cover-up skirt. Nothing but gold paint. Also: I really like her hair these days.
Bey and Jay are in Portofino as part of their European vacation to celebrate Beyonce’s 33rd (cough) birthday. They flew to Corsica (on a private jet) where they had a beach party with Blue Ivy, Tina Knowles and “more family and friends.” No mention of Solange, but God knows. E! News’ source says: “Jay and Bey were very playful and joyous with one another, the insider added, noting that Beyoncé looked very happy throughout the festivities.” Following the party, I guess they boarded a yacht and sailed to Portofino.

Alright, let’s talk about Beyonce. Beyonce Beyonce Beyonce. Queen B. Our lord and savior Beysus. We knew coming into the VMAs that Beyonce was definitely going to perform and that she was definitely going to pick up the MTV Video Vanguard Award. We also knew that Beyonce would explicitly or implicitly address the now-constant rumors about her marriage being in shambles. We were all waiting to see if Jay-Z was there, if they would sit together, if Bey would make a reference to her marriage. And they made us wait and wait and wait. But it was worth it.
First, Bey walked the red carpet alone. She also did the press room, backstage, alone. No Jay-Z. But Jay was seen on the backstage camera early on in the night, and we saw that he was there and he was holding on to Blue Ivy. By the way, Beyonce’s red carpet look was the black lace Nicolas Jebran Couture. I’m not into it, but I rarely like lace on a red carpet, it usually looks cheap and Fredrick’s of Hollywood to me. Beyonce’s burgundy Zuhair Murad dress in the press room was a tad better, but still not really great.
So, with everybody primed and everybody waiting until the very last moment for Queen B, she finally arrived. There was a smoke machine. There were her special Bey-fans. There were amazing back-up dancers. There were stripper poles and dramatic back-lighting. And Bey kicked our asses for 16 minutes, doing mostly a medley of songs off her new album. She even threw in part of her “Flawless” remix with Nicki Minaj, referencing “a billion dollars on an elevator.”

Even for Beyonce, this seemed like an especially emotional performance, right? But I always have to give it to her – she WORKS. She brings production value to everything. She made the VMAs a must-watch event. Anyway, after she performed and cried and busted her ass, Jay-Z came on stage with Blue Ivy to present Bey with her Video Vanguard Award. Well-deserved. I feel like their body language was supposed to tell us that everything is fine, that they’re working through their problems. But what I got out of it was that Bey was acknowledging that they were having problems. I tweeted this last night and I think it’s true: they’re not breaking up now. Not this week. Not next week. But maybe in October.

Another week, another set of breakup/divorce rumors for Beyonce and Jay-Z. This is the cover of the current issue of Us Weekly, because I guess the tabloids are really and truly ON IT now, plus they figure “Beyonce” + “Divorce” = circulation. Imagine the field day the tabloids are going to have if and when Bey and Jay really do announce this split. Anyway, here are the basics of Us Weekly’s cover story:
Could Beyonce be a “single lady” once more? Now that the singer has finished the last of her On The Run U.S. tour dates with husband Jay Z, speculation about the couple’s marriage is at an all-time high. Fans are wondering if the spouses of six years will go the distance — but Beyonce is already making moves toward a split, sources reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly.
Insiders tell Us the music superstar, 32, has a plan of action in place for if/when she decides to call it quits with her rapper hubby, 44, dad to her 2-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy. One source says “she is done” after their remaining On The Run shows in Paris, France.
Rumors about the state of the couple’s union have been rampant ever since footage leaked of Bey’s younger sister, Solange, fighting with Jay Z in an elevator at the Standard Hotel after the May 5 Met Ball. The “Crazy in Love” singer has done her best to quiet the chatter with happy family pictures posted to Instagram, but insiders say things aren’t so rosy behind the scenes.
“Beyonce always ignored the cheating talk, but after the elevator fight, the floodgate of rumors opened. She doesn’t know what to do.”
Beyonce is reportedly “insecure” about Jay’s “wandering eye.” An insider says that Beyonce systematically eliminated for view anyone she deems to be her husband’s type. “She kept their circle tight to make sure no pretty girl could take his attention.”
One insider tells Us that Jay and Beyonce even have a draft of a divorce announcement ready for the Associated Press – if she decides to call it quits.
Beyonce’s escape plan: the week of the Met Gala, Beyonce started checking out new homes in Manhattan. “She’ll file for divorce in New York,” says an insider. “Lawyers are already involved.”

Sources also say that Bey has turned to Gwyneth Paltrow for support and advice on how to keep the split amicable, plus Bey is leaning on her mom a lot these days. Tina is telling Beyonce to stay with Jay though. And Jay is reportedly “freaking out” because he’s realized how much power she will have if she leaves him. Oh, and Us Weekly says Beyonce and Jay were going to go to Kim Kardashian and Kanye’s wedding but they decided to cancel after the Met Gala mess.
Other sources say that while Beyonce makes up her mind about what her next step will be, she’s been “incredibly invested in maintaining” the happy-family image. Speaking of, Beyonce posted a bunch of new family photos on her Tumblr. She and Jay took Blue Ivy go-karting.
