Kim Zolciak tells daughter, 19, to get lip injections ‘if it makes her happy’

Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kim Zolciak-Biermann and her daughter, Brielle, 19, were spotted at LAX on Tuesday sporting over-inflated lips. Like mother, like daughter, right? The 38-year-old reality star was in Los Angeles to work on the launch of her new skincare line, Kashmere Kollection. While she was there, she paid a visit to her plastic surgeon, Dr. Garo Kassabian. Being the social media monster that she is, Kim documented the trip on Snapchat. Dr. Kassabian is quite the in-demand plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. Kim could only get in to see him at 9 p.m. on Friday night. As she states numerous times in the video, it’s “only the best, baby” for her. The Daily Mail posted a video of Kim’s L.A. Snapchat adventure and it’s kind of refreshing to see that her videos are just as dull as those from someone not in the public eye. Kim didn’t reveal exactly what happened at the good doctor’s office, but she definitely emerged with noticeably larger lips. Of course, she’s no stranger to going under the knife, telling E! News back in May that she’s had some plastic surgery, including a tummy tuck and breast augmentation. She also thinks it’s okay to not be 100% natural, telling E!: “I will always nip and tuck if I feel the need to do so, but I’m open about it. I don’t care. You only go around one time, and I especially understand that. And life is very short, so there’s no reason for me to lie.” “If I chose a life of reality television, which is an open book, so I share with people what I’ve done. There’s no secrets. I want women to feel as beautiful as I feel, and so, with that said, it’s not all natural. My boobs aren’t natural. I had great boobs until I breastfed Brielle and then they just shriveled up to B raisins. They were horrible. So I must fix them.” LOL!” [From E! News] Kim’s 19-year-old daughter also got a lip tune-up while in L.A., visiting cosmetic dermatologist Simon Ourian. Mama Kim is completely on board with this, telling US Magazine, “She bothered me for five years about her lips. She was like, ‘I hate my lips, I hate my lips.’ So I’m like, then go fix them! You only go around this planet once. If it makes her happy, so be it.” Brielle’s lips are the star of many an Instagram selfie. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for a little nip and tuck, and if I hadn’t been so chicken in my 20s, I would have gotten a boob job, but I just can’t with these lips. Lamar Odom: Intervention Staged By Family! NBA Star Peaces Out in a Hurry!

Desperate to help any way that they can, Lamar Odom’s family staged an intervention in New York City Friday night, according to reports. Suffice it to say, this did not go over well. In response to the former NBA star’s recent troubling behavior, his family decided to step in and try to get him the help he badly needs. A source quoted by Us Weekly confirms that the mediation took place on Friday night with several of Odom’s close family members. Lamar’s longtime partner Liza Morales, the two children she has with Lamar, his aunt JaNean Mercer, and several cousins were involved. Good for them for stepping up, but … it didn’t take. “Lamar was doing really bad and his family was going to stage an intervention on Friday,” the insider tells the celebrity news magazine. According to a separate report from Extra, the retired L.A. Lakers baller “was extremely surprised” by this and quickly “left the location.” Lamar Odom Learns to Walk Sad, since an intervention is desperately needed. Last fall, Odom overdosed and almost died in a Nevada brothel. He was in such rough shape that had to re-learn how to walk and speak (above). You’d think that would straighten him out. No. A drunk Odom was kicked off a flight from LAX to NYC earlier this month after he reportedly got so hammered that he vomited on the plane. Witnesses say the 36-year-old stopped at a bar in Santa Monica prior to heading to LAX, where he “got really angry and started getting drunk.” “It’s really sad,” the insider said, watching Odom spiral out of control and further into the abyss. “He was doing so well in his [rehab] programs.”  He was? Khloe recently filed to divorce Lamar a second time. Shortly after the plane incident, her mom Kris Jenner said she was surprised by the news. “I don’t know what happened. It was a big surprise to me,” Jenner said. “All I can say is I want the very best for him. He’s like my son.” “He’s a part of my family and I adore him. He’s the greatest guy in the world and anybody that knows him will tell you the same thing.”  Odom has recently been spotted at numerous NYC strip clubs, having been kicked out of Khloe’s rental house, allegedly for drug use. What more is there to say at this point? Unless someone can get through to him, it feels inevitable that the same, sad pattern will continue. Genie has previously professed her love of all things Taylor Swift, and has even met Swift backstage at one of Swift’s concerts last year. But Genie is tired of Swifty’s perpetual-victim shtick. Well, well. It looks like all of those “sources” were right! Miranda Kerr is officially engaged to billionaire Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel. Miranda is 33, Evan is 26. The age difference is no big deal – we wouldn’t blink if the ages were reversed – except that Evan seems a lot younger. He seems like he’s still a frat bro in college. I’ve long suspected that Miranda is useful to Evan for that reason: she legitimizes him (somewhat) as an “adult,” as a player, as someone who should be taken seriously. As for what he brings to the table for Miranda… well…I mean, I can only guess. Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel is celebrating his engagement to Miranda Kerr, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal. The supermodel accepted the proposal from the 26-year-old tech superstar, who she has been dating for two years. ‘They are extremely happy,’ a spokesperson for the Snapchat CEO told DailyMail.com exclusively. Miranda started dating Stanford University graduate Evan in June 2015 after meeting at a fashion industry dinner. She posted a photo of her ring (below), which is reportedly a 2.5 carat round diamond with two baguette diamonds. Us Weekly spoke to “jewelry expert Michael O’Connor” who says that ring probably cost something like $55,000. Which is a decent chunk of change for me, but Evan is a BILLIONAIRE. And the general rule is to spend two months’ salary. How does one calculate that when one is a billionaire? That O’Connor guy goes on and on about how the ring is understated and beautiful and “the couple decided on a timeless style that proves they ‘don’t need to try.’” Yes, that’s just what you want your ring to say: “He didn’t want to try.” I think it looks like He Went To Jared. (After reviewing some stories about his beef with Taylor, he seems rather prescient about her.) Kaiser reminds me that Diplo is also a highly successful producer and DJ and that she would still hate bang him. So would Kate Hudson, apparently, because these two are said to have hooked up some time last week in Ibiza. Kate Hudson has found her boy of summer: Diplo. “They are dating,” a source reveals a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. The actress and the DJ, both 37, who exited NYC’s Met Gala together in May, connected in mid-July near Ibiza, Spain, the insider says. I would kind of love it if Kate and Diplo became a power couple and started a PR feud with Taylor and Tom. That’s not going to happen, but it would be like Gossip Christmas and Gossip New Year’s put together. Also, do you remember how Cher tweeted earlier this week that Kate Hudson’s clothing subscription service, Fabletics, seemed like a scam? Well Life & Style has a new story about how Kate is mad at her mom, Goldie Hawn, for buying clothing from a competitor. They quote a source who says that Goldie “recently went into Exhale, a spa in NYC, and bought loads of great Victoria Keen yoga pants and spawear.” Kate was said to be “furious… [she] obviously wants her mom to be wearing her Fabletics line.” Goldie has Instagrammed photos where she’s wearing Fabletics but she said Kate sent them to her. I updated yesterday’s post as news kept coming in, but it’s worth discussing all of the crap that happened after TMZ reported – based off of what they were being told from sources close to Taylor Swift – that Swifty was the one who wrote Calvin Harris’s hit song “This Is What You Came For,” which features vocals by Rihanna. As it turns out, the conspiracy theory/rumor was and is absolutely true. Taylor’s rep confirmed it to People Magazine yesterday, saying: “Taylor Swift wrote ‘This Is What You Came For’ under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg.” People Mag also ran what amounted to a confirmation of TMZ’s earlier reporting, that Taylor was very hurt when Calvin said he didn’t want to collaborate with her after they had already collaborated. So what was Calvin’s reaction to Team Swifty running to the press to correct the record? He got on Twitter and dragged her. And those Calvin sources say Taylor is “acting like he’s only got one hit song. US Magazine has a new article on the sidebar this week letting us know about the state of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s relationship, because we really needed another update after the sidebar on the cover of People last week. Every day I wonder how they’re doing, if they’re still a couple, if Ben is off cavorting with random women on yachts in Canada or both because you know those two things are not mutually exclusive. Jen knows it too on some level, but she may have stuffed it deep down where she keeps her knowledge of fashionable shoes because US is reporting the divorce is now off. In fact, talk of divorce has ceased altogether, sources reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly. “Jen mentioned that the divorce was going through very soon, and then a few weeks ago, things changed,” says a source close to Garner. “It does not seem to be moving in that direction.” The Justice League actor, 43, and actress, 44, are cohabiting in their $17.5 million, five-bedroom mansion, albeit in separate bedrooms. Garner revealed in the March issue of Vanity Fair that she sleeps with their oldest daughter, Violet; Affleck bunks in the guest room, according to a close source. “Jen seems to still be in love with Ben but doesn’t allow her mind to go there,” says the Garner pal. “She just focuses on the kids.” The man down the hall is also having trouble letting go. “If it was up to Ben,” adds a second insider, “they would be together. He feels like he can’t live without Jen.” Still, an Affleck source insists lawyers are hammering out the details of their divorce privately. “They were never in a rush to file. This was always the plan… “They want their kids’ lives to go on as uninterrupted as possible,” says a source. [From US Magazine] Some people will say US is making this up, but this is consistent with People’s report last week, and as I usually mention, US had Garner’s side of the divorce along with exclusive details from their relationship and breakup vacation, where Garner figured out Affleck was sleeping with their kids’ nanny. (I would like to get an update from Ouzounian, but I bet she signed an ironclad NDA.) So Affleck wanted to get back with Garner and she’s letting him stick around until the next time he publicly embarrasses her.
