Fuller House Teaser: Go Behind the Scenes!

As previously detailed, the cast of Full House has come a long way. You can click on the link above to see what we mean, but you can also take a look at the video below. Netflix has released a new trailer for Fuller House, though this one is unlike past Fuller House previews. Instead of showing fans upcoming footage from the wildly anticipated Full House spinoff, it takes us behind the scenes with various cast members with whom we've literally grown up. "Fuller House carries the same emotional, loving, family tone through the show that the original did," Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Tanner-Fuller) says in the featurette. "It's crazy to be back here again!" The Netflix series will drop on February 26 and will center on a newly-widowed DJ Tanner. She's the single mother of three boys and she relies on the help of her sister, Stephanie and her fellow single mom/best friend, Kimmy Gibbler, for parental guidance and support. All three women live in the Tanners' childhood home in San Francisco. "We are a family and have been since we started doing the show 28 years ago," says Jodie Sweetin. "[The plot] is sort of the reverse: It's now three women raising these three boys." Look for appearances by familiar/beloved faces such as John Stamos and Bob Saget and, yes, prepare to have mercy. Daily Beast: The Middletons ‘were always thought of as being incredibly boring’

By the looks of it, Pippa Middleton finally “caught” an eligible man who is “terribly rich” and “terribly into her.” The guy is James Matthews, and the rollout on this guy is very, very interesting and very telling. For the past five years or so, Pippa has dated men who don’t necessarily want to be seen with her, lest the press go over their lives with a fine-toothed comb. I thought Nico Jackson was the exception, but he high-tailed it to Switzerland more than a year ago, and their relationship fell apart after a long, drawn-out drama, one which involved Pippa spending the night at James Matthews’ home before the Nico split was announced. Word is, Pippa and James are moving pretty quickly. They’ve known each other for years and even dated briefly a few years ago, but sources claim they’re already living together. As I said, the rollout has been interesting. Over the weekend, the Daily Mail had a piece about James and his “toxic bachelor” brother – go here to read. The gist is that the Middletons are willing to overlook James’ reality star brother if it means marrying off Pippa. Further evidence that the Middletons approve? Carole Middleton chaperoned a dinner date between Pippa and James last week. Which led me to this amazing piece in the Daily Beast, all about how Carole is forever a Helicopter Mom. …It might seem rather odd that, like a Victorian chaperone, Pippa’s mum came along too. To Carole and Pippa, it probably seemed entirely normal. As James is no doubt finding out, you may think you are just dating one of the Middleton girls—actually, you are dating the whole damn clan. “The Middletons like to do things together; this is not a family to marry into if you don’t like party games,” says one acquaintance of the family, “Carole’s seal of approval is an important part of any relationship her children might be involved in.” It is not hard to see how the easy, comfortable closeness of the Middleton clan, dominated by Carole, must have seemed a far more attractive paradigm to the young Prince William than the brutal game of he-said she-said undertaken by Charles and Diana. William is said to jokingly call Kate and Pippa’s father Michael ‘dad’. Acquaintances say that growing up, Carole ruled the family with, if not a rod of iron, a clear sense of what was and was not acceptable. “They were always thought of as being incredibly boring,” says one acquaintance who knew the family when the children attended Marlborough school, who also suggests that Carole’s long had a reputation as something of a ‘helicopter mom’: “Carole always made sure they had the right books, and that their pencils were sharpened.” In a sign that the relationship may be moving on, Matthews, 40, has submitted plans for a first-floor extension to his London property, seeking to build a bathroom above the kitchen, with the blueprints showing a ‘vanity basin’ complete with his and hers sinks. Maybe he should think about adding a granny flat too. [From The Daily Beast] I understand the appeal of a close-knit family, I really do. And the Middletons’ closeness must feel so exotic to William after the toxic relationships within his own family. But the helicopter-mom act is just bizarre at this point, given that all of Carole’s children are over the age of 28. Kate still goes home to mummy whenever she can, and Carole moved in with Kate and William for months last year just to run the household. And the PR blitz around Pippa’s new boyfriend has the vibe of old-school Middleton PR shenanigans, and I suspect that Carole is trying to make sure that Pippa locks this one down. My point? Kylie Jenner is ‘livid, super betrayed’ about Blac Chyna & Rob Kardashian

One of my favorite things to come out of Kylie Jenner’s “transformation” over the past few years is that people started calling her White Chyna. That, to me, is hilarious. Tyga famously dumped his long-time girlfriend/fiancee/baby-mama Blac Chyna for Kylie when she was underage. That was around the time that Kylie began her transformation too, and by the way… she does seem to be “stealing” Blac Chyna’s look. I’m telling you, this whole thing is very Brandi Glanville/LeAnn Rimes. Especially when the jumpoff (Kylie) is single-white-female-ing the original (Blac Chyna). Thus, we get White Chyna. Anyway, as we discussed earlier, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are sort of happening now. Blac Chyna posted a photo of Rob’s arm draped around her and the Twitterverse exploded. Blac Chyna is no longer tight with the Kardashians, but they were all friendly at one point, so Blac Chyna really knows what she’s doing here. And I still think it’s really funny/shady. So how does Kylie feel about this situation, with her half-brother hooking up with the ex-partner of her current boyfriend? Kylie Jenner and half-brother Rob Kardashian are on less than good terms following news he’s been romantically linked to Blac Chyna. “Kylie is livid,” a source tells PEOPLE. “She feels super betrayed and can’t understand why someone in her own family would stab her in the back like that.” Blac Chyna, whose birth name is Angela Renée White, is Tyga’s ex-fiancée, and together they have a son, King Cairo, 3. Jenner has been dating the 26-year-old rapper since late 2014, but the pair didn’t take their relationship public until last August when they went on a PDA-filled trip to celebrate her 18th birthday. And Blac Chyna’s bad blood with Jenner involves her famous sisters. The mother of one was once close friends with Kim Kardashian West, though the friendship appears no longer. In addition, Khloé Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s BFF Amber Rose have had many public feuds on Twitter regarding Jenner’s relationship with Tyga. Furthermore, Tyga and Blac Chyna aren’t the friendliest of exes – he lashed out at her on Instagram in September for allegedly spreading rumors that he couldn’t afford the Ferrari he bought Jenner for her 18th birthday in August. [From People] Ah, to be 18 years old and dumb as a rock. Of course Kylie is “livid” – that’s exactly how Blac Chyna wants her to feel. Blac Chyna manipulated this situation brilliantly if her aim was simply to get at Kylie (which it probably was). As for Rob… I don’t really understand how he doesn’t see that he’s being manipulated too. But maybe he’s okay with it because he has such a love-hate/passive-aggressive relationship with some members of his family. And you know he still lives with Khloe, right? Woody Allen has cast Miley Cyrus in his Amazon miniseries set in the 1960s

I actually had a moment of “Miley Cyrus is an actress?” this morning. Like, her Ratchet Eliza Doolittle act has been such a success that I completely forgot about Hannah Montana and the fact that Miley started out as an actress, and she wasn’t always this twerking mess that we see before us. Miley hit pause on her acting career years ago when she decided to go full-throttle with her music career. After trying to be the new Britney (or whatever), Miley released Bangerz and the rest was history. Or not. Miley is returning to her acting roots this year because Woody Allen has called. You see, Woody got a deal for an Amazon series. Seriously. And he’s cast Miley in some kind of role. Back at the last Cannes, Woody Allen revealed to Deadline that the deal he made to create a TV series for Amazon was haunting his every step. He’s in a much better place now. In fact, Allen has set the principal cast for the six half-hour-episode series that will take place in the 1960s, and it certainly is unexpected. Allen, who wrote the scripts and will direct, has set Elaine May and Miley Cyrus to star alongside him. I don’t know a lot more than this, as Allen is shrewd offering information on his projects. It begins shooting in March. He previously worked with May in Small Time Crooks, and this is the first time he has worked with Cyrus. Allen and May are repped by ICM, Cyrus by CAA. [From Deadline] This is going to sound so rude, but I honestly didn’t know Elaine May was still alive. May is a comedy legend, she was the Tina Fey/Amy Poehler of her day and May was closely associated with the late, great Mike Nichols. So… a legend of comedy like Elaine May, Woody Allen and… Miley Cyrus. Set in the 1960s. So bizarre. Even more bizarre? I actually think Miley might be good at this. I also think it’s creepy and gross, of course, but I’m betting that Miley “surprises” critics and ends up relaunching her acting career. Weird, I know. Miley confirmed her involvement with an Instagram post (below). She wrote, in part: “F–k yeah ! Stoked to be in Woody Allens first series!!!!! News, “They have been having some great times with each other the past few months and are on the same page of life now.” Although the rumors that Gwen might be pregnant with Blake’s child have faded into the background, the couple does have a new mouth to feed – a horse. The family that rides together, stays together, right? Well, maybe not. Blake and ex Miranda Lambert had horses and look how that turned out. As someone who has asked for a pony for many a birthday (as an adult as well), I think it’s a sweet gift. I do wonder if Gwen’s ever been on a horse though. I’m having a hard time picturing her in one of her designer ensembles and L.A.M.B heels on a horse. But I’m sure she’ll get the hang of it and be a cowgirl in no time at all. The experience could serve as the inspiration for a new Western wear line. You never know what kind of fug fashion Gwen could come up with next. Star: Naomi Watts & Liev Schreiber broke up, will keep it amicable for kids

Star Magazine is reporting that my favorite couple, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber, split up back in November and that they’re “trying to keep things as amicable and normal as possible for the boys.” Naomi and Liev have been together for over ten years and have two sons together. If this report is true I’m really sad, but just read it and take it for what it’s worth: A source tells Star that the King Kong actress, 47, quietly called it quits with the father of her children back in November after 10 years together. “Simply put, Naomi and Liev grew apart,” reveals the insider. “And they’ve decided it’s best for everyone to go their separate ways.” While reps for the pair deny the split, Naomi did not accompany the Ray Donovan star, 48, to the Golcen Globes on Jan. 10 – and in December, the couple put their Hamptons hideaway on the market. “They’re trying to keep things as amicable as possible for the boys,” says the source, noting how the proud parents, who just finished filming the boxing biopic The Bleeder, took Samuel, 7, and Alexander, 8, on a recent family vacation to Australia. “Their main focus right now is making sure their sons are okay.” [From Star Magazine, print edition] Ok so Star’s evidence seems to be that Naomi didn’t go to the Globes with Liev and that they’re selling their house in the Hamptons. Maybe they don’t want to go to the Hamptons anymore because they’re sick of the place. Maybe Naomi didn’t go to the Globes because she was busy working or had to stay home with the kids. Their reps denied it! Here’s my evidence that Naomi and Liev are still together – she Instagrams photos of him all the time. They just went on vacation to Sydney for the holidays and she posted a nice pic with him a week ago. They were papped out together looking cute and matchy in their winter jackets just last week. YouTuber Matthew Santoro claims abuse by Nicole Arbour: ‘men get hit too’

I know popular YouTuber Matthew Santoro because my son watches his educational videos and often quotes facts from them. Santoro’s videos are similar to John Green’s channel MentalFloss in that he gives fast-paced and interesting facts. I know YouTuber Nicole Arbour because she’s somewhat of a professional troll. Her obnoxious video, Dear Fat People, earned her headlines around the world and a spot on The View, when she stirred up sh*t when The View ladies arguably disparaged nursing as a profession. (Here’s the background on that controversy.) One of Arbour’s latest videos, Dear Feminists (NSFW language), characterizes feminists as women who hate men and don’t shave their legs. I wish I was making that up. In December, Santoro recorded an emotional and revealing video about the abuse he suffered in a previous relationship. He made the video private at first but accidentally set it to public recently. The response was positive and so he decided to leave it up. In the video (above), Santoro cried as he revealed how a former partner controlled him, cut him off from friends and family and once hit him in the face, which he described as more devastating emotionally than physically. He emphasized that abuse knows no gender and encouraged victims to come forward. While he never named the person whom he claimed abused him, Santoro’s former partner, Nicole Arbour, responded by posting a comment on one of her recent videos, writing “Heard the little bitch I dumped months ago is still trying to use me to get attention on his vlog channel. Ew.” [via Raw Story] Here’s some of what Santoro said in the video, which was heartfelt and powerful and really moved me. On being isolated from friends and family I pushed my family away, I pushed my closet friends away. It wasn’t always explicit… this individual I was with was extremely jealous… I had to cut every female out of my life and it was because everything was made to be about her. I lost my closest friends because I was made to believe everybody else was a loser. Claims she hit him on the face Early in the relationship I had a verbal altercation [after] I had a panic attack… and I broke it off with this individual. This person prevented me from leaving their home and said “you’re not going anywhere” at which point I was hit in the face for the first time in my life. When someone you care about strikes you there are so many emotions… you feel sadness… shame… embarrassment. You think ‘was it my fault?’… luckily I was able to leave that night. He broke it off but took her back Through manipulation… about a month down the road [she] contacted me and told me that [she’d] changed… and I took her back. That is incredibly embarrassing to say. What people don’t realize is, when I took her back the real damage was psychological… I cut everyone out of my life and my business suffered… everything became about her. He was manipulated and controlled I allowed myself to be in a relationship where I was controlled, where I was manipulated, where I was made to do things and act in a way that I never would on my own. It wasn’t until just a few weeks ago that I decided to break it off from her… I wanted my life back. I allowed somebody to emotionally and physically abuse me for almost a year of my life. It’s really embarrassing to say that, but it’s the truth. On why he made the video The reason I’m making this video is not to disparage anyone… it’s to tell you that domestic violence knows no gender [cries]. It happens to men and women. It’s something that men never talk about because we’re made to believe that we’re supposed to be strong. Men get hit too. Tell someone Men get hit too. Abuse knows no gender, it’s something that people don’t talk about… Whether you’re a man or a female, if somebody hits you, tell somebody. Tell a family member, tell a friend. I truly believe that this guy just helped SO MANY people by sharing his story so honestly. That must have been incredibly hard. After posting that really telling comment, Arbour recorded two videos in response to Santoro’s video. Arbour claims that she broke up with Santoro, not the other way around, and posted a brief video of the two of them together in which they’re goofing around and he play hits her, bites her shoulder and sort-of asks her to marry him. Here’s some of what she said: Claims it’s not true That [playful video with Santoro] was one week before I broke up with my ex boyfriend, who has recently put out a video, not saying my name but… insinuating that we were in a domestic abusive relationship, which was not true. It’s just not true. This sucks, because whether you like what I do or not as a performer… I’m a comedian… whether you like my act or my rants or not, I don’t care… but I had asked repeatedly while dating him that my private life not be put on the Internet and he repeatedly overstepped that boundary over and over. Claims he moved down the street from her after their first breakup We broke up briefly and he moved down the street from me after we broke up… in hopes that we would get back together and we did. We dated for a bunch of months after that and it was fine… Claims she broke up with him, he violated her privacy Something in my heart just didn’t feel it anymore… his lifestyle and the way that he wanted to be a youtuber and have everything public all the time wasn’t for me and I broke up with him and it was as amicable as it could possibly be at the time until his hurt over the breakup turned to anger turned to a whole bunch of lies… as my videos were doing well he suddenly [did] interviews about me and our personal life… I don’t want my real private life out there… Claims he’s just trying to damage her career His video that he put out is just another way to hurt me and my career that’s growing quickly. It is abuse… of his platform, it’s abuse to all the people who suffer from something. He didn’t suffer from domestic abuse. It didn’t happen. Don’t use kids to be a hate army. I think that’s what’s wrong with YouTube… the obsession with manufactured drama. He’s “taking a tiny little thing and spinning it” Crying wolf on a serious subject… and trying to fabricate a very large story and taking a tiny little thing and spinning it into something that just didn’t happen is sick. [From Abuse Story – My Side of Things by Nicole Arbour] Read those last lines “taking a tiny little thing and spinning it.” She never specifically denied hitting him. She did say that “it did not happen… there was no domestic abuse.” However not once did she say “I did not hit him.” After Arbour recorded that first video refuting Santoro, she recorded another video, claiming that “people are equating subscribers with truth” and saying that the court of opinion is on Santoro’s side because he has more followers on YouTube than she does. She then challenged Santoro to come on her channel and do a live stream polygraph test with the two of them. Again, I would have liked to hear her say “I never hit him.” I’m sure there’s more to the story than he’s claiming, there are always two sides to a story, but if she did hit him that’s pretty damning. Plus if he’s not telling the truth he’s an incredible actor.
